Derek Hale - Rollercoaster Pt.1

          Derek Hale was born on April 10, 1993, in Stockholm, Sweden. Unfortunately he was the only one out of 3 babies, which survived the birth. When he was 13, his parents died in a car crash and he was left alone, without anyone to help him out to keep his life going further. He spent over 12 years by doing literally nothing other than consuming enormous amounts of alcohol and drugs. But one day, one serious thing happened...

          Fortunately a cousin, called Martin Coyne, reached out to Derek and helped him out to stand up from the grave, which he was digging for himself. But for that, Martin asked one favour from Derek - to help him out in Los Santos. Derek felt something, that he had not felt for such a long time - he is needed for someone in this world.

          In August 2018, Martin introduced Derek to the city, Derek was shown the proper ways of making money by farming wheat, transporting money to different city locations and filling up fuel stations while trucking. Back in the days, you could not cook illegal things like drugs, so the city helped out a lot for Derek. From the first sum of money he made, he bought his beloved Nightshade - the infamous muscle car.

          As the days passed, Derek began feeling a little bit forgotten, he had not seen Martin for some time. When one day... he got a message from him to meet at the Truckers Yard to talk about future plans. When Derek got there, he met his cousin there in a black suit standing by
the stranger, called Steve Anderson. That was the day, when Derek got introduced to the illegal group known as "The Chairmen". Derek finally filled up a hole inside his heart which he always felt, he missed the family a lot and he finally had one, but a little bit different.

          Day after day, Derek saw more and more friendly faces around him, made more and more friends around him, he helped out "The Chairmen" when needed.The group was very organised as it was one of the first in the city. Most of the money came by importing and
reselling guns from their acquired warehouse, but something wrong was happening back then - all of the money went into the group treasury, noone was getting their cut. Till the day came, when the treasury reached $1000000 and Steve Anderson disappeared from the group with all the budget which the group had. Noone could believe what had happened, but nothing could have been changed...

          A couple of days after the incident, Martin reached to Derek again saying that everything would start over again, that Tommy Vangore, the co-leader of "The Chairmen" is creating a new group for the same people, called "The Shadow Cartel". Derek could not believe how fast everything went, he could not decide or trust others that fast so he just left his number and said that he will be in touch in a week. Since the first day "The Shadow Cartel" existed, Derek still could not believe what happened, flashbacks from the alcoholism days were hitting him so he decided to go deeper, decided to be a part of "The Shadow Cartel" with Martin Coyne alongside him.

          Days passing, the group was getting stronger and bigger, with multiple alliances made alongside groups such as "La Familia", "The Syndicate" and "Bratva". At which point the government implemented something more illegal for people, like Derek, they finally built compounds to cook drugs. Multiple gangs, in one radio frequency rolled together and helped
out each other when needed. Multiple meetings arranged between the closest gang - "La Familia" and "The Shadow Cartel". Derek could not be happier back then.

          Cooking drugs, chopping cars, reselling guns got repetitive, fighting enemies felt like a hot knife through butter. "Narcos", "Cosa Nostra", "Clowns", "Fog City Crew" - every single group wanted to break alliances between everyone, they made a city called - HIDE OR DIE. Derek could not handle everything, he obviously tried, but too much pressure was put on his shoulders since he was one of the oldest members in "The Shadow Cartel", so he booked tickets for his flight back home - for a huge vacation from everything that had happened.
