I'm curious to know others' thoughts on Take Two Interactive's bomb that was dropped on the GTA mod community recently. If you are unaware, please see the following link:

I'm a long-time fan of GTA and I was only recently introduced to GTA role-playing. RP is EVERYTHING I've ever wanted GTA online to be. I bought this game for PC specifically for this reason. It seems like they are attempting to force people back onto their servers and purchasing their shart cards. For me, there is no incentive.

It's really shitty. Mods have always existed and will always exist. The corruption in the gaming industry is becoming more and more obvious and is discouraging me from playing anything that isn't a mod or private server.
