bloodymarysgirl Posted 14 hours ago Report Posted 14 hours ago I've noticed that a lot of people don't give others enough time to type, especially PD. For example, you might briefly stop to send a quick radio message to a friend or respond to something they said, and before you can even finish typing, PD pulls you over for "impeding traffic." Since text-based roleplay takes time, there should be a rule requiring players to give someone a reasonable amount of time to finish typing before taking enforcement action. This would help ensure text roleplayers have a fair opportunity to participate without being immediately penalized. A rule like this would also be easy for staff to enforce because both perspectives can be reviewed through body camera footage. Staff could determine whether the player was only stopped long enough to send a quick message or whether they were having an extended conversation that was genuinely blocking traffic. This wouldn't excuse sitting in the middle of the road having a full conversation unless it's appropriate for the roleplay. It would simply provide reasonable protection for players who use text-based roleplay and only need a few moments to send a quick radio transmission or response before continuing. Quote
