(300 words maximum) Hello, I hope everyone is having a good day. I was at the Cement Lab with several members of our club when a pink Kamacho approached the area. I had never seen this vehicle before, and I had not previously interacted with the driver, ID 23. I approached him and asked who he was. He told me that he was a solo player. I explained that we were almost finished cooking and that he could use the lab shortly afterward. He replied, “Okay, thanks, i appreciate you” and then left. A short time later, one of my friends said over the radio that the same person was still outside and appeared to be speaking on his radio. Because of this, I warned the others to be ready, as we believed it could possibly be the Rooks and we did not want to be caught off guard or pushed. Approximately one minute later, the same pink Kamacho returned. I alerted the others to remain prepared, and I approached the vehicle again because I wanted to explain that we had not finished using the lab yet. As I approached, I saw ID 23 getting out of his vehicle with a firearm visible on his back. I immediately attempted to exit my vehicle and move toward cover. While doing this, I accidentally pressed the space bar, causing my character to begin climbing the container. At that point, ID 23 started shooting almost immediately. No clear demands were given, and there was no meaningful interaction or opportunity for me to respond or comply before he opened fire. As shown in the video, I did not have enough time to react, take cover, or even draw my weapon before I was shot and incapacitated. I am submitting this report because I believe the situation escalated to lethal force without valid demands, sufficient interaction, or a reasonable opportunity for me to comply. And finally, I just want to ask: is this what RP is nowadays? Can someone go to a lab, say they are solo, leave, then come back later and start shooting? RJThompson Posted 1 hour ago Report Posted 1 hour ago Hello, Big Choppa here. i am the fella in the pink macho. Upon joining The Rooks, i was told we are heavily beefing Lost. Since seeing this member i called it out on radio and was told my fellow members wanted to push and kill these fine gentleman, i waited for backup and as it arrived i decided to drive in. i attempted to come in and hold him up to rob and then kill this fella because of the ongoing turf war and beef we have with this faction. upon doing so i hop out and pull my firearm, and i run towards him. instead of him doing anything to show correct fear for his life. he instantly hops out his vehicle and decided to radio as he is running off from me showing no care to roleplay but instead run when he knows hes in danger as he states himself. he put my life at risk by radio'ing and not fearing for his own life, if he wanted roleplay he could have gone multiple different routes it was clear he would rather throw himself under the bus and call for help instead. i agree demands do not equal dm rights. but what does is having heavy beef with another faction and the said member of the faction we are beefing. running off when he knows hes in danger and radio'ing for backup, labs are extremely hostile and not only that but you assumed i was rooks and in doing so you still showed no care to roleplay or to show any sort of fear roleplay. you knew i couldnt hold you up the second you radio'ed. Id also like to bring up the use of /b with the casual (save pov) it extremely ruins any sort of roleplay and has been mentioned and annouced many time to use use /PM for this, if the admins would like to also keep that in mind as it ruined my immersion with this faction.
