This suggestion is for all players, especially civilians, LEO, EMS, taxi drivers, mechanics, businesses, and people trying to meet up with others. Why is the suggestion being made? Sometimes it is hard to explain your exact location through text or voice. Players often have to describe nearby streets, buildings, or landmarks, and that can waste time or cause confusion. A phone location-sharing feature would make it easier to send someone your location without breaking RP or needing to explain every turn. Pros and cons: Pros: Easier meetups between players Better taxi, mechanic, EMS, and business RP Less confusion when giving directions Helpful for newer players Works well with postal codes if they are added Cons: Could take dev work Could be abused if there are no limits How should this be implemented? Players could have a “Share Location” button in the phone. When used, it sends a temporary map pin or nearest postal code to the person they are texting. The location should only last for a short time, like 5 to 10 minutes, and players should have to manually choose to send it. Quote
