JohnnnnyP Posted January 11 Report Posted January 11 I'm not sure this has been mentioned before, hell it might even be a terrible idea, but I would like to suggest trading in credit cars. Nothing crazy, maybe like 1/2 the credits you paid (unless it changed, go by lower price ), more or less depending on time having the car, maybe mileage? I feel a lot of people regret some of the cars they may have got, the vehicles may have changed, their characters gameplay/lore have changed etc. and to give people a chance to get something new? i know its donating and what you get is final, just think this might encourage people to spend more if theyre worried about being stuck with a vehicle and for people to have a change if they've lets say owned the vehicle 4+ years and just want a change. that is all, Quote
BillyB Posted January 11 Report Posted January 11 Whilst I think this is somewhat of a good idea in regard to points you mention with lore development and new cars becoming available; I believe this feature may be misused to move assets between characters as credits are tied to the account and not individual characters. I also believe, from a business perspective, this would have financial ramifications as people wouldn't need to purchase more credits when they could simply trade their cars back for credits, even at a half rate. I had this thought, and it could be true. However I also think it might generate revenue, I'm honestly not aware of the amount of people who spent credit, and not how much people average, but for the average player that has 1 maybe 2 cheaper vehicles, and cant afford another 100 plus dollars, they could trade 2 in, spend 20 more dollars, and get said vehicle. I think in a lot of cases people will still need to spend, but there not forced to spend a a larger sum, so they are more likely to spend. say you cap 1 vehicle trade in per car, unless your going from a super car to something under 12.5k you will always have to spend more money. so possibly smaller sums, but more purchases.
