Fish Prices Bug

Recommended Posts

Posted (edited)

Date and time (provide timezone):  All time

Game Edition (Legacy/Enhanced/both): Both

Character name: Kai Cesaer

Does this issue appear again after a full game restart?: Yes

How many times did this issue appear for you?: Almost Everytime

Issue/bug you are reporting:  Fish prices are random every time you sell Fish instead of being static

Expected behavior:  The prices should be static for fishes

Evidence (MUST provide either UNEDITED photo or video) , notes worth mentioning, steps to replicate:

So according to Fishing Wiki and Hector2Finger the base value of fishes are static and doesn't change even if we keep selling but something is wrong here and prices are completely random. Sometimes we get price way above the base value and sometimes totally shit prices even for rare fishes. We tried different methods if prices were to change like hunting or Ore mining to boost the prices of other fishes but that didn't work too. I am attaching the video and some screenshots of different fishes and different times.

1) Video of trying to boost prices offish like Hunting / Ore mining :
2) Tried to sell Tuna / Bass Combo ( Bass prices are insanely low )
3) Tried to sell Tuna only ( Low prices compared to Base Value in Wiki and 20% Active boost )

I Spoke with few staff members as well, Hector2Finger told me that the Base Value is static. I don't know if it is a bug or miscalculation. Please someone explain how prices are currently working for fishing.
