Better ATC

• Who is the suggestion for?

This suggestion is for everybody who owns any aircraft.

• Why is the suggestion being made?

For more RP opportunities and engagement in the aviation side of the server.

• What are the pros and/or cons of the suggestion?

This would give ATC more things to do, like managing the aircraft in the area of Los Santos. Additionally, it would allow players to communicate with ATC via VoIP instead of text, and ATC could provide quicker and/or better directions for aircraft. It would also make it more interesting to own an aircraft and fly around.

Cons: At the moment, I couldn't think of any.

• How should the suggestion be implemented?

Implementing a way to talk while inside the aircraft with "P" to ATC. As well as adding designated areas to the map, meaning devising the whole map into parts where you could toggle off or on (or only visible to ATC/pilots), so that ATC could divert to different waypoints or areas depending on the situation.

SAAA had this conversation regarding this for bit now. Although it usually never goes anywhere due to dev issues and work arounds. We’ve even suggested a Teamspeak or Discord Channel, but we also gotta ensure the players without a Mic has the ability to use ATC

I'm not exactly sure what you mean here, but there is Radar now on ATC where Tower is able to see your Aircraft's location with or without GPS. There are also more blind spots than I want to admit but it gives a fair chance for crims in aviation.
