FreezerGeezer Posted April 8, 2019 Report Posted April 8, 2019 Hi, I followed the instructions and had downloaded RAGE Multiplayer and connected to the IP provided in discord. I seemed to join in fine and I was just a random character as it looked like the server downloaded around 300 files. At around the 200 mark the download just stopped and I believe it said I was disconnected. I closed the game, reloaded RAGE and direct joined again but now each time the game just crashes as soon as the game window launches Did something go wrong with only downloading some of the files? Thanks for any help.
Sinsali Posted April 8, 2019 Report Posted April 8, 2019 Make sure to start rageMP as admin. Make sure it does not get blocked by your firewall(s). Restart and do the whole process another 3-4 times, always wait for the download to finish and only then restart. Being bald with a nice shirt is correct, so don't worry. You will be prompted in game with a login screen when it's finished. If you feel it does not work and the process stalls, even after following the above tips, I suggest you properly de-install rageMP, manually delete all the files left, restart your PC and then install rageMP once more. FreezerGeezer Posted April 8, 2019 Author Report Posted April 8, 2019 The game still just crashes the moment the game window is launched. I click direct connect > connect > Social club launches > game window launches > crash with social club error just saying exited unexpectedly. It is not blocked via firewalls or AV, I am running rageMP as admin and I have done computer restarts and reinstalls. I was hoping to atleast create an account to get the application process going.
Sinsali Posted April 8, 2019 Report Posted April 8, 2019 The application process is in game. You need to make rageMP work in order to do that. I suggest you look for a rageMP support forum / discord / etc.

FreezerGeezer Posted April 9, 2019 Author Report Posted April 9, 2019 Sorry for the double post. Zero help over on the RAGE website / discord unfortunately. I think I know how to fix it but I'd need somebodies files from RAGEMP > Client_Resources > Eclipse IP. I think the files in there are the ones I got interrupted downloading and has now messed the rest. If anyone knows a place I can DL or is willing to share, i'd appreciate.
