How many times did this issue appear for you?: Every single time i check, and for others as well-

Issue/bug you are reporting:  Serial number on weapon doesnt match the weapon type in the MDC.

Weapon that was checked is a serial carbine
When checked in the MDC, it came back as a Pistol .50.

Expected behavior:  The serial number should come back as the same weapon type

@TimmaayyIt has indeed happened several more times since, however I have not updated this thread. I had a Pump Shotgun come back as a Pistol.50 and a another weapon with similar issues however I do not remember which gun.

Someone from PD mentioned that it has something to do with the drops. If someone orders multiple different guns in one drop it will make the gun type the same across all serials numbers in the drop. If this is true or not is beyond me.
