Some advice on RP

Since im very new to role play i would appreciate some advice on situations like when approached by medic or police. 

I know how to use /me mostly when describing how my IC does things but i struggle to use /do especially when many people are using chat IC or OCC since the chat gets wild. 

For example if i want to RP a police situation where i want to be a little disobedient how should i use /do properly?

Im not looking for the rules

Lets say you are pulling somebody over and you are under the suspicion that they may be holding drugs you would type /do search body

/do Is basically for responding to /me's. Or describing certain situations. I can give you a few examples.

/do There would be a smell of alcohol coming from the car.


/me unclips the cuffs from his belt, bringing the males arms behind his back - attempting to cuff his wrists.
/do Would I succeed?

Then you would respond with either:
/do Succesful
or
/do Would be resisting.
