NinerTwoGolf Posted April 29 Author Report Posted April 29 Hot Import Nights Trip Awoke to an email from Jay Paige that had him jolt out of bed. He rushed down to MPT to see what this delivery was. As the garage door opened, a smile couldn’t help but form. A small fleet of the Annis Elegy RH7 and the Maibatsu Sunrise R. Two JDM classics that were being freshly imported to the state. At the time, they were fresh off the ferries, no dealership had been allowed to stock them yet. The crew was ecstatic about the new cars, and were quick to take them out for a test drive. As well as a nice surprise, SASG had gone ahead and attached the new Redline License plates to the car as well. The crew was excited. New cars, new apparel, what more could they want? The cars were a cut above, even stock. The crew was having a blast putting the cars through their paces. Everywhere they went they turned heads. People asked where they got them, how they got them, and how much they’d need to part with them. Right now? The cars were priceless. Even Trip’s own Wife, Celeste, got in on the fun with the new cars. She was even pulled over for speeding! How scandalous! After the 72 hours, Jay was true to his word and SASG came in to repossess the vehicles. Redline, however, was fired up. The new cars were amazing to drive, even stock. What would they be like once they came to dealerships, once the mechanics got aftermarket parts? They would be perfect to Push The Redline 3 Quote
NinerTwoGolf Posted May 19 Author Report Posted May 19 One For The Road Was this the right call? Trip wasn’t sure anymore. He had discussed the idea over and over with Sanjay, over and over with the rest of the team. It seemed like out of a list of bad options, this was the best one. The truth is, the city had changed since Redline was formed almost two years ago. There really wasn’t a lot of room for a ‘Legal’ Racing Crew. They had put on fun events, sure. Did a lot of racing as well. But attendance was going down, and there was more and more people going intent on ruining the fun for everyone else. Even with so many imrovements to how Redline conducted themselves, the crew was more and more exhausted after hosting events. But the truth is, the crew had changed just as much as the city had. Trip was becoming a Supervisor at EMS. Sanjay was a General Manager at Bayview. Marc had become the Damn Warden, and that’s just the command team. The personal cost of racing had become higher and higher. Trip now had three kids at home he wanted to get home to. No, this was the best call. Rather than let the Redline name peter out, they would disband, letting the Redline name end on a high note. But man, we had a helluva time the past two years! Whether you came to one of our events, partnered with us, joined the Crew or raced side by side with us. Thank you for Pushing the Redline with Us. 6 1 Quote
