ORIGINS

One summer night, Sanjay and Robert Devil were doing another mechanics shift at Bayview Auto Center. The night was interrupted when a few of their friends from the notorious street racing crew ENVY showed up and asked them if they would like to join them in racing at Grapeseed. Sanjay recalled a time back in 2021 when his old friend, Giovani, showed him the ropes on the streets of San Andreas. Immediately, Robert and Sanjay invited some of their friends and headed down to Grapeseed. After an intense night of racing, Robert and Sanjay returned to Bayview. They sat in the parking lot and talked about how much fun they and everyone else they invited had.

With Sanjay's racing skills and Robert's experience in organization, they both looked at each other and asked each other “Why don’t we just start our own crew?” However, both of them valued their jobs at Bayview and didn’t want to do anything to jeopardize their careers. Their goal was to create a crew who respected every aspect of the law, except street racing. No shootouts, no drugs, no evading, nothing that could put them on Law Enforcement's radar more than they’d have to. That night, Redline was Born.

Slowly they started to build the crew and taught many people all the tracks they knew. One night, the crew were racing on observatory. As many were pushing to the limiter, everyone’s cars needed desperate repairs. An LSC Mechanic, Trip, answered the call and was quick to help everyone out. Everyone was grateful and thanked him as he wrapped up the repairs and headed back down the mountain. Minutes later, a black Elegy Retro drove up and parked next to the crew. It was Trip, and this time he was ready to join us on our lap. After spending just one night on the tracks with Trip, Sanjay and Robert knew he had something special about him, something special that Redline was missing.

The story continued, and Sanjay and Robert continued to build the crew. Sanjay had created a database, to keep record of all the times that his crew was putting down on the popular tracks. At the same time, they stressed the key rules that they built Redline on: Clean racing and staying legal in all other aspects. The Founders stressed that they did not care how many races they won if they raced dirty. Redline respects the racer that took the loss and had a clean race, more than a race winner who bumped a car off the track. They were grateful that one of Redline's members had a property in Sandy, which Redline then converted to their HQ. This was the story behind the initial birth of Redline.

Life got busy, the racing died down, and the crew slowly became less and less active Fall became winter, the snow thawing before Trip reached out to Sanjay and Robert, itching to drive their cars to the limit. “Why not?” they thought, they got some of the old crew together and started running the racing lines. As they started going out more and more often, this rekindled the flame in Sanjay and Robert. From that moment, they both knew that for Redline to continue, they needed Trip to join them. Redline started on a summer night. This time, it was a cold winter's night, and the Founders asked Trip to meet them at the HQ in Sandy. It was then that they handed Trip a passkey to the Redline crew, asking him to join them as a Founder.

Robert had been wanting to build a bar in Los Santos for a long time, and with Redline needing a place to hang out in the city, this was a perfect opportunity. Instead of a new HQ, the Redline Founders had a dream of building a new spot for all car enthusiasts in the city to visit and show off and talk about their passion. Robert dropped a lot of sweat and cash to build one of the best bars the city has ever seen. Once he was close to completion, he invited Sanjay and Trip over to check it out. During this meeting, Trip pulled out his Tablet, and the three of them discussed the revival of Redline. Redline 2.0, you could say. Redline was back, and it was once again time to follow their motto; Push to the Redline.

Sanjay “Lead Foot” Devil

Founder

Ride: Grotti Itali GTO

Track: GrapeSeed

Bio: Sanjay's passion for cars continued the moment he flew into Los Santos, immediately getting a job as a mechanic at Bayview. Sanjay loved Bayview from the moment he joined, but there was one thing he loved more than fixing cars. Driving them. Luckily just a few days in, his good friend Giovanni Rossa showed Sanjay all the street racing tracks he knew. From that moment, Sanjay became a regular at these tracks. He found other enthusiasts in the Legal Car club Burnout Nation, eventually becoming a Front-Runner in the group.

4 years after he first flew into the city, he made a few racing friends here and there, but never was invited to race with a major group. That all changed when some of his friends in Envy invited him to join them. After being A solo street racer, he finally got his chance to show his skills. After burning some rubber, he had a conversation with his close friend Robert. "I wanna keep racing, but I love my legal life in every other aspect. Think we could Street Race while staying clean?" That one question resulted in the birth of Redline. While Sanjay has raced various cars in the past, he always dreamed of owning an Itali GTO. He finally got his hands on one, and can be seen driving around the city in his White GTO, with black light xenons and neons. He vows to always follow his crews Motto. "Push to the Redline"

Carter ‘Trip’ Bulfinch

Founder

Ride: Bravado Banshee GTS

Track: DMV

BIo: Trip’s Title as ‘Founder’ isn’t exactly true. He wasn’t around for the initial origin of Redline. He actually stumbled into them after taking a mechanic request. After racing back to the shop to clock out and race back up in his Elegy Retro, Sanjay gave him a shot to prove himself. He did so with gusto, putting out a time 5 seconds faster than the other two initiates that night.

An ex-wheelman who never could quite let go of his need for speed, Trip uses Redline as an outlet, hoping to use the Crew as a jumping off point for more Legal Racing in the City of Los Santos. Though Trip was previously known for his Elegy Retro, he now cruises in a Banshee GTS ACR.

The night started with Robert, Trip, and a Hangaround meeting up at The Paddock. After a brief discussion, they headed out to Observatory.

The three of them hit the course, and although the Hangaround’s classic Sultan couldn’t keep up, there was a fierce dogfight between Trip’s Banshee and Robert’s La Coureuse. However, Robert was able to squeeze out the win lap after lap.

Soon, Sanjay pulled up in his brand new Sultan RS Classic, and he brought friends.

Soon the hill was alive with the roar of engines, a full grid thundering down the track as everyone gave it their all.

Eventually, the racing slowed down as the sun rose, the whir of cooling fans and the dripping of condensation on hot engines played in the background of conversation. Talks of the restart of the Underground Racing League sang in everyone’s ears. Sanjay, Robert, and Trip all shared knowing glances. Redline was back ,and this time they were going to make sure everyone knew.

Lucyna ‘Bye Bye’ Kushinada

Apex

Ride: Weeny Issi Sport

Track: Observatory

Bio: Lucy’s time in Los Santos is nothing short of a good story, filled with its ups and downs. the moment she got off the plane she had one thought in mind: “lets cause some chaos”. And chaos she caused, immediately joining a gang and throwing any chance of being a good citizen away. That is until one day, she met someone who pushed her to change, to be a better person. She left the life of crime behind, applying at LSC, and turning her life around. Days turned to months and she applied at DCC as well, climbing the ranks to management within the company. There was always one problem she had though...

She left the life of crime behind, but not the passion for driving, and driving fast. She never thought that chance would come back, until one night Trip texted her, asking to meet. that was when he offered her a spot in Redline, a racing crew that respected the law but still took it to the limit and beyond, and although she knew the risk, she said yes immediately. Since that day, the moment she gets behind the wheel of her purple and black Issi Sport with neons to match, she always pushes it to the redline, no matter the track or the competition.

A New Home

Trip awoke to a text from Robert. Answering Quickly, Robert inquired to Trip about a property on Route 68. The Old Redline clubhouse was a gift from a member, but redline was looking to have something theirs. Trip, not much of a texter, asked Robert to meet there so they could talk in person. Robert agreed, and Trip got dressed and headed out the door.

Trip took a nice cruise up to Route 68 in his Gauntlet Hellfire, the quiet night on the freeway disturbed by the roar of a supercharged v8. Trip arrived at the property, Robert was right behind him in his Comet Safari. It was an easy sell for both of them, the property was an old rundown Gas Station that fit Redline’s vibe perfectly. After a quick discussion over how to split it, the property was quickly purchased under Trip’s name. Soon after, Sanjay pulled up, Robert telling him about the new Clubhouse. Sanjay was excited, as all three of them talked about how they’d make it home for the Crew. After all, everyone needs a place to rest after...

Redline's new Clubhouse was finished. ‘Cozy’ as described by Bye Bye, the refurbished gas station and repair shop became the perfect location to kick up their feet after a hard night of racing.

After a quick meeting discussing about future plans in the coming week, all in attendance headed out to Garbage. Once they hit the interstate, not a single member hesitated to put their foot down. Everyone raced off, all their cars chewing through gears and hitting their rev limits. Flying down the interstate, the roars of Engines of all displacements, the whine of superchargers and turbos piercing the night air.

Once arriving at Garbage, everyone lined up. After a couple of photos, they quickly got into grid order. On Sanjay’s signal, they were all racing and riding the curves of the loop. Garbage game alive with the squealing of tires and the roar of engines.

There were full grids, One-On-Ones, and a few time trials attempted that night. As the sun started to rise, everyone went all out for one final lap before going their separate ways. The crew was satisfied after another night of...

Another public appearance

The night was march 8th at 8pm. The sounds of engine revs and the smell of exhausts could be noticed for miles from the paddock.

The second monthly cars and coffee had arrived, and seeing how popular the first was, there was no doubt in the crew’s mind that this one would be better than the first. People from all around the state showed to the car meet atop the paddock, sporting all types of rides, from sports car, super car, drift cars, and even muscle cars.

Cars came and went, and attendees along the rooftop were filled with chatter. watching from afar, Trip was satisfied with another successful night, until out of nowhere, an old friend approached him, informing him that he had been setting times at the observatory track. Trip was taken aback, not knowing this friend was involved in the street racing scene, but he saw something in his friend instantly. And that something? Redline potential.

The Gov Grand Prix

Trip had known about the so called ‘Gov Grand Prix’ after picking up two friends from the middle of nowhere. The tale was almost unbelievable, both of them saying how Daniel Carmello, of all people, kidnapped them and took them to a hidden racetrack. It wasn’t until a week later that Trip got to learn how true that story was.

It was an exceptionally quiet evening at City Hall as Trip visited his wife, Celeste. AS they chatted, Trip noticed more and more government officials and GSB Agents sharing whispers and nods in the corners of city hall. Ren Sanchez then walks up to Celeste, telling her to find a random Los Santos Civilian and bring them to [REDACTED]. Celeste enlisted Trip, both of them agreeing they should go to Los Santos Customs, and grab the first mechanic they recognize.

That mechanic ended up being Saoirse Mayes. It took little convincing for her to clock out and go with them. Trip quickly drives them all to the location, Government Officials and their chosen citizens trickling in and gathering. These citizens came from all walks of life, a diverse group to be sure. Suddenly, go karts are wheeled out, and Ren welcomes everyone to the Gov Grand Prix.

Two races followed, everyone pushing the tiny karts to their limits. The night was filled with the smell of burnt 2-stroke fuel and laughter. Trip was able to take home the checkered flag on the second race. Just as everyone thought the night couldn’t get any better, Ren ordered the next batch of vehicles wheeled out.

Six Open wheeled Race cars.

A grin creeped across Trip’s face, the real competition was about to begin. 4 Rounds, six drivers, each driver would get 2 chances to win, with all the winners going against one another. Trip was slotted for the second and fourth races.

The second race Trip struggled against the car. The front splitter was damaged, leaving no downforce to navigate through turns. He was content with a third place finish regardless.

The fourth race was up, and with the damage repaired on the car, Trip dominated.

It was time for the winner’s race. They all lined up, the whine of the high rev engines suffocating out the cheers of the crowd. They were off, Trip suffering a loss of control on the first lap after collisions with other racers in the tight turns. Trip fought the next two laps, pushing himself and the car to the redline. He caught up to the pack, taking third and pressuring second until they made a mistake, taking advantage of it just before the finish.

Despite not winning this iteration of the gov gran prix, Trip couldn’t help but enjoy the night. Trip now had an unbelievable tale to bring back to the crew, with wins under his belt and cash in pocket, Trip wondered if he’d ever get the chance again to Push the REdline.

Lead Foot’s Journey to the East

Sanjay was taking a well Deserved vacation to the land of the rising sun: Japan. Trip offered to give lead Foot a ride to the Airport, which he was more than happy to accept.

The Ride was Casual, filled with talks about what all Sanjay planned to do while overseesTrip assured Lead Foot redline was in good hands while he’s gone, that between him and a newly promoted command member, they’d hold down the fort. Trip also shared some ideas on how to restart the league, to which Sanjay simply nodded to.

But all of that could wait. Sanjay had a vacation to enjoy, JDM Cars to drive and a touges to raceTrip saw Sanjay off, wishing him well in Japan. Redline would be waiting for him when he got back, but that didn’t mean the crew wouldn’t be pushing the redline while he was away.

Expanding The Crew

Trip’s phone rang out as he waited for an answer. At the last Cars & Coffee Terrance, an old friend and coworker of Trip and Bye Bye, had mentioned recording times down at Obervatory. A departure from Terrance’s usual Drifting and Rally racing, but one that took him in the Redline direction. Terrance answered, and the two agreed to meet.

Terrance accepted the invitation to Redline with zero hesitation. Once he was given access to the time trial database, he got to work.

Trip and Bye Bye were surprised at Terrance’s gusto, putting down times at nearly every track Redline was recording, some in multiple vehicles. Both of them agreed that they needed to see how Terrance did in wheel-to-wheel racing, and with that they called a meet.

After showing Terrance the Club House and chatting for a bit, Trip with his wife Celeste, Bye Bye, and Terrance took off to Observatory. Terrance swapped out his Itali RSX for his ETR1 after a warm up lap. After that, it was on.

The Trio raced through the night until the sun was high in the sky, Celeste snapping photos with her drone. Pulling into Los Santos Customs for some final repairs, Bye Bye and Trip shared a nod. They had talked briefly earlier. Terrance had what it takes. Trip presented Terrance with his new bangles, solidifying his acceptance into Redline as a Driver.

In the following week, Terrance would reach out to trip for races, which Trip was happy to accept.

As trip sat on-Duty at his day job at DCC, he checked Redline’s Leaderboards. He was pleasantly surprised to see that Terrance had submitted a couple of new times since their race the previous night.

Trip was impressed with the times Terrance was putting out, but the wide variety of vehicles told Trip that Terrance still needed to find his ride, his style; something as unique as him. But, he still had time to figure that out.

Until then, Terrance would be Pushing the Redline

Expanding the Homefront

Standing out front of the clubhouse, Bye Bye looked at the empty lot and had an idea. “What if we build an outdoor garage, make our home feel more cozy?” Trip turned an eye to her, nodded, and they started visualizing the ideal setup for the area.

Ideas flooded their minds, multiple furniture store trips following their plans, and the building commenced. Lots of trial and error went into their building, a practice not new to either of them given their continuously improving time trials. After lots of putting up walls, tearing them down, and decorating, they stepped back to look at their work. Without much needed talk, they both knew their custom made garage was just what the clubhouse needed.

Saying Goodbye

It was early morning, the sun not even peeking over the horizon, when Sanjay called Trip. He needed trip up at Bayview for a talk. Trip quickly got dressed and headed out.

Trip’s head swirled with what this meeting could be about, driving through the morning shower up to Paleto. Arriving at Bayview, Lead foot and Trip exchanged greetings and small talk until the conversation turned to what the original call had been about. Lead Foot suggested they all head to the clubhouse for this, and called Robert to meet them there.

Of course, once on the interstate, neither of them could resist opening up the throttle in an impromptu race. Both of them arrived at the clubhouse, with Robert pulling in shortly after.

Once the Founders of Redline were gathered, Robert and Sanjay dropped the bombshell: Robert was leaving Redline. He had grown restless in his legal life, and was looking to explore more criminal enterprises again. Not wanting to put Redline in the crosshairs of Law Enforcement, he was choosing to step down. Trip, though surprised, understood completely, and wished Robert the best in his new ventures.

The Road Ahead

With Lead Food rested from his journey to Japan and Robert’s departure, a meeting was called for Redline’s Leaders. One of the topics was address promotions for crew members.

Trip had realized as the crew expanded that the current promotion requirements Needed some work. In theory, the old method allowed for those who could drop the most cash on their rides had a significant advantage. The leaders agreed that the way forward would be to provide a vehicle to them, with a time to beat.

But Trip, feeling nostalgic, had an idea for one promotion. Thinking back to the classic PlayStation Game ‘Driver’, Trip thought of the infamous first mission, having to complete a checklist in a parking lot in sixty seconds. Lead Foot and Bye Bye loved the idea. The next challenge would be finding an appropriate parking lot for it.

With the way forward decided, Trip and Bye Bye purchased an Annis Elegy Retro and a Dinka Blista, Lead Foot offering his garage to store the crew vehicles. With this, a new way to test members was set, and the crew would continue to

Terrance Butler
Motorhead
Ride:
Grotti Itali RSX
Track: Canyon
Bio:

Terrance Landed in Los Santos around a year ago and very quickly got a job at Los Santos Customs, he has always loved cars and bikes so turning his hobby into a job was a no brainer.

After a while of only cruising around he felt the need for burning rubber he sought out Downtown Drift Club where he quickly rose through the ranks and eventually became a command member and the team leader of Team Sprunk.

This was all well and good but the urge for speed was just too great, he sought out race opportunities or would just drive as fast as he could around the terminal track in his Itali RSX.

Eventually Trip approached him about a opportunity to join a group of people who loved to race but also had legal jobs, of course he quickly agreed and has been pushing it to the redline ever since, setting times on every track he can!

Shane ‘Tex’ Falkenlove

Driver

Ride: Grotti Itali GTO

Track: Grapeseed

Bio: Meet "Tex". it was a stormy day, Shane was working LSC alongside Trip talking about cars and how Shane loved driving fast. Trip was keen on wearing a new set of bangles, and Shanes' curiosity got the best of him. Trip decided to tell Shane to speak with [REDACTED] and see what the deal was. Shane knew who wore those bangles and thought to himself, "hmm, I should go and see what the deal was". Shane made a phone call, and they decided to meet at [REDACTED], once there, Shane was told about the group and what was expected. Shane agreed with the rules and where we stood in the city and quickly joined the group. Shane was a bit of a misfit, not understanding clean racing, driving etiquette and maintaining a calm nature. Throughout his time with Redline, Shane grew quickly, learning how to drive better, faster, and clean. Shanes' history with Redline would soon come to fruition as the group grew in numbers and his OG status among trip, lead-foot and Rob would show his resilience and love for Redline. During his time with Redline he needed to come up with a street name, and "Tex" was born, something short but blunt and reminded him of home. Tex would soon become a prominent member within the crew and his name would be set in stone.

The Gov Grand Prix Part 2

Two weeks had gone by, Trip was sitting on-duty with his wonderful wife Celeste. Celeste suddenly perked up, remember that Ren would be organizing another Gov Grand Prix. Celeste called in, and quickly got instructions to grab their someone and take them to City Hall. As they drove to clock off, it became clear that they knew who they’d Call, Bye Bye. They picked Bye Bye up at her home, returning to City Hall.

After a quick wait, Ren told Celeste to find another Los Santos Citizen, and bring them to [REDACTED].

After some calls and discussion, Celeste ended up grabbing Hayden of the Girlies, and they all headed off toward the race track. Just as they were pulling through the gate, Lead Foot called Trip, asking to catch up after his Vacation to JapanTrip told him to get his ass to [Redacted] now.

Redline’s Command were back together again, and they were ready to Burn Rubber. Ren had workers roll out the Formula 1 cars, and smiles crept across the crews’ faces.

They all lined up with the other contenders, and were instructed that they’d be doing a warm up lap, followed by Four tiered races, where the winners would go against one another for the grand prize.

After the warm-up, the real racing began, The grid was cut down to 7 racers, and Trip and Bye Bye were in the first heat.

Trip gave no quarter, taking off the line and defending his position the rest of the race. It was thrilling, the exposed nature of the Formula 1 car only rivaled by the pure speed and handling of the vehicle. This time, Trip was able to secure his place in the winner’s race early in the night.

Next up was Lead Foot for the second race. Despite being exhausted from his travels, he was more than ready to give it his all. Bye Bye offered to do the countdown, and they were off.

Jay Valentino took the second race. Bye Bye was able to secure her spot with the third race, and Tommy Nolan was the final winner.

Ren assembled the Final Four for an all out race, winner taking away a Grand Prize of $100,000, in addition to the $75,000 they’ve already won. With the stakes high, no one would be holding back.

Trip was once again able to take an early lead, but he was not as safe as his previous race. Jay Valentino was not giving him any room to breath. Trip could feel the pressure the entire race, enticing him to make a mistake. Trip however, held firm, crossing the finish line first and being crowned Winner of this iteration of the Grand Prix. Heading to the Bank, Ren paid the winners their earnings.

Redline’s command were pleased they were able to show off their skills. Until next time, they’d continue practicing, always Pushing the Redline.

The Newest Redline Motorhead

The time had come for Terrance.

He had been out racing, improving his times, honing his skills. A promotion Test was in order. Trip called him to a hidden location.

Terrance arrived shortly after, eager to move through the ranks of Redline. Trip was already waiting for him, leaning against a pristine Declasse Tampa. The task was simple: Terrance had sixty seconds to perform six specific stunts. If he stalled the car or collided with anything 4 times, the test was over, and he’d have to wait to Try again. Once Terrance agreed and said he understood, Trip tossed him the keys.

Trip clutched the stopwatch in his hand. Giving Terrance a look to make sure he was ready, Terrance had no further questions. Clutching the steering wheel, he was more than ready for this test. Trip counted down, and Terrance was off.

Despite a rough start, Terrance composed himself and flew through the test. With only one collision, Terrance finished all six stunts with 15 seconds to spare.

Trip Congratulated Terrance on a job well done. Trip told Terrance to keep Pushing the Redline, and his next promotion wouldn’t be too far away.

Shake Down

It was another day for Redline. Today, Lucy and Trip decided to get some people together and hit the tracks once again.

Meeting at the Club house, Bye Bye and Trip were able to get Brandon and Erin to show up. Brandon was an old hand, coming back after a long Hiatus. Erin, however, was brand new to the scene, nervous but eager. Trip assured her, telling her the code of Conduct for Redline, and she eased. Soon, Trip’s wife joined them.

After a quick discussion, Bye Bye and Trip decided to go to Observatory, as it was a fairly simple course and police presence should be minimal to non existent. Celeste hopped in with Trip, and they were off.

After posing for some photos, they were off. Brandon and Bye Bye were head-to-head, as Trip held back slightly, checking on Erin as she learned the course. The nervousness showed through in her driving. But Trip saw the potential, and her nero custom was one of a kind in the crew.

During a post lap chat, Bye Bye got a little too silly and ended up hurting herself. Everyone found themselves thankful to now have an Honest-to-god Doctor in the Crew.

Erin soon had to head out, thanking everyone for the time and looking forward to future racing. Soon, Trip’s old friend Tommy Nolan called, saying how he Ran into Bye Bye at LSC for repairs and knew Trip was involved. He soon arrived with Ceri Chapel in the passenger Seat, and lined up with is Grotti Itali RSX.

During one of the last Runs of the night, a peculiar sight of a man locking picking a tornado on the side of the track caught their eye. Trip slammed on the brakes. What caught his eye was not the carjacker, but the Pink Van he was next to.

The crew pulled up quickly, the car thief completely overwhelmed. It was bad luck really, stealing that vivante and ending up on the shoulder of the track. Everyone was good sports about it, and left him to take the Tornado after reclaiming Celeste’s van and belongings.

A shake down run in more ways than one, everyone parted ways. Redline was shaking some rust off, and were ready to continue Pushing the Redline

Rainy Days

The texts were put out, Sanjay had Robert with him and they were looking to gather as many people to come race. “Meet at the club house, bring a fast ride.”

Redline met up as the sun was rising, a light rain coming down as the crew discussed where to go. After a brief discussion, Vineyard was the chosen track. They quickly head out, westbound on Route 68 to the start line at DriftGas.

While snapping a few photos, the rain started to pick up. The group had to make the call: Call it off or race through the storm. Glances were shared. It had been a while since they had been able to get this many people together, so they went for it, storm and all.

They quickly topped of their tanks, lining up, revving engines and spitting exhausts marking everyone’s readiness. Someone called the time they would start. All in attendance eyed the clock, waiting for that number to tick, reaction times being tested. With the burnout of tires and redlining of engines, they were off.

Brakes glowed red as they worked hard to compensate for the lack of grip from the tires. The rain was coming down in sheets, pooling in the roads. This course was already dangerous, and the rain made it even more thrilling.

Soon the sun came out, drying the pavement and allowing everyone to really Push the Redline.

The Vineyard was alive with the roar of engines and the squealing of tires. It was all going well until someone called out over the radio “Guys, there’s a chopper right above us.”

The Sheriff’s Department AIR-1 was above them, tracking someone. No one present was going to stick around to find out who, so the scramble was called, everyone scattering to the winds and agreeing to meet at High End if they were sure they weren’t being tracked.

Meeting at High End, Sanjay filled in the group on what happened. Apparently, someone dragged their high speed pursuit onto the track. The Sheriff’s department had no idea they were there, and were surprised at presence of other vehicles. The crew got off with no consequences, free to continue

Twin Turbo Throwback

Something had been nagging at Trip. It couldn’t quite put his finger on it until he was inputting the week’s Time Trail progress. His Annis Elegy was distinctly absent from the leaderboards.

Trip’s Elegy is how he cut his teeth in the street racing world of Los Santos. The car that earned his place in redline all that time ago.

Early the next morning, Trip went down to the storage unit and rolled the elegy out. She was looking worse for wear, and he limped her to Redline’s clubhouse garage for some T.L.C.

A peek under the hood revealed that the time in cold storage had not been kind. She was going to need some work and a deep clean before she’d be track ready again.

Trip eagerly got to work with a practiced hand. No detail was too small to be over looked. Tires and brakes were replaced. Suspension adjusted. Oil, coolant, and transmission fluids were drained and refilled. Timing was checked and double checked. The Elegy received a deep clean inside and out. Trip finished just as the sun was setting. The perfect time to hit the tracks.

It was all muscle memory for Trip. The braking points, the handling, when to start accelerating out of the turns. Even the corners Trip knew he could take flat out.

Trip was surprised. The elegy was known for its acceleration at low speeds as well as its handling. But he couldn’t shake the feeling that he had taken these corners faster in his Banshee GTS.

As the night ended and the sun was rising, Trip was reviewing his dash camera and times.

While his times weren’t near his old course records, he was pleased enough with them to release to Redline. At the very least, they would serve as good benchmark times for new Roadtrippers and Drivers to strive for.

He hoped the times would give a shot in the arm to the latest batch of Roadtrippers, giving them the motivation to keep

Redline Motorsports
Redline
had found a new avenue to bring racing events to the city.

Located near Legion Square, the old Motorcycle dealership provided the perfect location for Redline Motorsports to open its doors. The new forward facing side of Redline, it allowed the crew to show off their skills while providing entertainment to the city of Los Santos.

Offices for the command, conference room for business meetings. SASG even found an old race car for them to roll into the lobby.

Lead Foot, Trip, and Bye Bye got to work planning future events for the company. They were excited for the opportunity for not only their crew but the entire city to

Shifting Gears Shaking Hands

With Redline Motorsports established, it was time to get out there and make connections.

Trip, bye bye, and Terrance met with Director Ren Sanchez, Telling her of something that Trip and Terrance have been working on as a pet Project since their days at LSC. Now with Redline motorsports, they believed they could bring it to life. Director Sanchez was onboard, and agreed to make connections and provide as much support as her Bureau could.

With SASG support secured, the question turned to manpower. This event would be big, and would require more personnel than Redline alone could muster. Trip had just the man to assist.

Jay Plague had expressed interest in working with Trip on an event since The Paddock. Plague Entertainment Inc. was a juggernaut, and Trip knew that a partnership between them and Redline could be beneficial. Combining the Race prowess of Redline with the event know-how of Plague Inc., Trip and Jay knew they could host a massive Racing Event the whole city could enjoy.

To test the waters of this partnership before going all in, Trip proposed a smaller, lower stakes event. Trip had noticed Jay’s propensity for European performance and luxury, and thought another themed car show tailored to that taste would be perfect.

Trip and Bye Bye showed Jay the location they were thinking, and he was on board. The talks turn to business as they toasted to the future.

And the future? It was looking Red
