Adjusting Ban Evading Policy

Recommended Posts

Hello, Everyone.

There are many people who have been banned from online communities for evading the rules. These people may feel like they have no chance of ever being a part of that community again. However, some communities are willing to give ban evaders a second chance if they are willing to follow the rules this time around. This can be a great opportunity for those who want to be a part of the community but may have made some mistakes in the past.

The current ban policy for those who evade bans is too harsh and needs to be readjusted. The majority of those who evade bans are not hackers, but rather role players who simply want to continue their game without interruption. However, the current policy labels all evaders as hackers, which is not only unfair but also counterproductive.

Hackers are a real problem for online gaming communities and need to be dealt with swiftly and harshly. But banning ban evader players which has so many types some of are cheating, roleplaying as well we do not have pvp mentality we just want to continue play in this server that's why we evaded. It would be better if the ban policy was more nuanced, so that those who were truly "DSO" disrupting server operations were banned while those who were simply roleplaying could continue playing without fear of being banned unjustly.

By readjusting the ban policy in this way, we can create a more welcoming and inclusive community that still takes firm action against genuine threats like hacking."

Note : it was 4 years ago, and we weren't mature in that time, our mentality has been changed through years and now we are all grown just seeking for another chance to play in this great server, I understand we made mistakes that we did ban evade, but we didnt think enough we were just trying to play the server and to not wait to make another appeal which was a huge mistake.

Our stance on ban evading is firmly negative, as it often harms the player experience. As those ban evaders have nothing to lose, they tend to act in a malicious manner toward members of the community and it certainly does not make any sense for us to allow this to happen. At this point in time, our stance regarding ban evading will remain unchanged.
