Jung was born in 1988 at Tokyo Japans Shibusawa Prefecture to not so wealthy parents who did their best to take care of him despite their shortcomings. He was always fascinated about his stylish and for some reason very respected grandfather. One night he heard him talking downstairs as he sounded very frustrated about someone on the other end of the phone and would hear the word ''Yakuza'' mentioned in the call.

From this point on Jung had made his mind, he wanted to be like his grandfather, feared, respected, stylish and rich. After he graduated from the districts business college he finally decided to act up on this fantasy and contacted his grandfather, who was still one of the headmasters of the local clan. He saw the passion and determination Jung showed right from the start and would reminiscent about his own beginner days in the clan. Jung was taught by the clans best martial artists and was brought in as a Loan Shark, if people owed the clan money he would make sure this money was to be delivered either good or bad. Jung quickly rose the ranks in the clan and eventually ended up as his clans headmasters personal bodyguard. He had left behind the life with his original parents and accepted the Yakuza as his true family. It was also during this part of his life that Jung would take on the habit of smoking with the rest of the clan.

One night Jung was sent on a job to go ''sort out'' a man who owed the Yakuza ridiculous amounts of money so as always, he would bow to headmasters and tell them the job will be done and head out of the clan building, taking the luxury car the clan had given him. Once he arrived to the location of the man he was looking for he stopped in place, it was his old family home. He knocked the door firmly and waited.. And waited some more. A scrawny looking man would answer the door and as it slowly opened Jung could finally see the man clearly, it was his own father, with his mother shaking scared behind them. Jung told them who sent them and why as they begged their son to have mercy on them, they had no money, this debt was to be paid in either Yen or blood. While the life in Yakuza had made Jung very stone-like and cold-hearted he could not bring himself to do it, he could not kill his own parents for the Yakuza and therefore gave them the briefcase of cash he had in his car and told them to flee somewhere out of city where they could not be found. He would walk back to his car as he watched the couple quickly gather their little belongings and start to make their way away from the tiny house he was raised in. He would stand next to his car as they looked back at him, seeing the gratitude in their eyes as a single tear rolled down on his cheek. He knew this would get him in trouble, he knew the Yakuza never forgets either debt or disloyalty, this was about a principle to them, not the money.

The next day Jung did not return to the Clan Headquarters but instead he had decided he would leave the country. He knew if he returned empty handed to the clan the least they would do is cut off his pinky finger for disloyalty but he feared they might make an example out of him and take his life. So he decided the only option for him was to leave his lavish and rich lifestyle in the Yakuza behind. He gathered his necessary belongings as well as a family picture from when he was young of him and his parents. Jung knew he had not much time before he would be contacted about the deed so he left his phone behind as well as the car the clan had given him and took the nearby bus to the airport where he would board a plane to Los Santos International Airport, where he would turn himself a new page in life, away from his criminal past back in Tokyo, away from the Yakuza. Hoping his parents made it safe.

From here on out Jung's story is still unfinished, he has made it to Los Santos, doing his best to remain on peoples good side, making no enemies in either the local gangs or the law enforcement. He has not heard of the Yakuza or that they would know of his whereabouts but he is cautious about this every single day as he lives day by day in this new city, turning a new leaf in his life.

He still to this day has not quit smoking.
