Fellex76 Posted September 8, 2024 Report Posted September 8, 2024 Hello, I was trying to get on the server today and it's stuck on Downloading Server Assets , i went into the RageMP folder and deleted the old files thinking that was issue. Now it's stuck on downloading over 5 GB , it sits there for about 2 mins not moving then rageMP try's to start the game and crashes. 1

Tony Esposito Posted September 24, 2024 Report Posted September 24, 2024 Same I have been unable to get into the server for about a week with this issue. Tried all the solutions on the Discord, tried completely uninstalling and reinstalling GTA5 and RageMP, drivers, other programs that might cause network conflicts multiple times... I'm at a loss, I can load into any other server on rage and it downloads files and loads perfectly but when I connect to Eclipse it freezes on the download, tries to launch the game and it crashes, or if I try the direct connect method it just gets stuck on a forever load screen like the original issue I faced. Nothing on my network has changed I was able to get in fine one day and the next I couldn't.

Daxu Posted July 12, 2025 Report Posted July 12, 2025 (edited) @Fellex76 I had that problem consistently when I lived back on the East Coast USA. My region's download server didn't like me for some reason, so I needed to use a VPN to somewhere else (I often did Canada) and download the update (just launch RAGE and connect to ECRP and let the files download). Then, I'd reboot the game without the VPN once the assets were downloaded and I could connect/login fine. Could be helpful for anyone experiencing this in the future! Edited July 12, 2025 by daxu
