Ritchie Stones Posted August 8, 2024 Report Posted August 8, 2024 with the new fishing idea looking around the corner and the leveling system which I am super excited about. i want to propose importing the TUG boat, but also with a greater purpose. - it would be pretty cool if we could install up to 3 rods on the fishing boat, i saw we could equip better rods overtime with our level, so being able to have "the level of rods accomplished to attach them on the boat" would be pretty cool - also maybe implement, that there are certain fish that are illegal to catch" they should be thrown back in the water" but you can have a secret drop off spot near cayo pericho to sell the fish. this area i expect to be having criminal campers around the area (modern pirates) Of course i think a boat like this should not be easily obtained, so i suggest this boat can only be bought by becoming lvl 100 fishing first. and the boat should cost a whopping 2 million. because being able to have 3 fishing rods on the boat tripling your money should come with a cost of investment first. perhaps even a fishing license that could be easily revoked by sea patrol for a few days or a week, when illegal fish is found stored in the boat. (not permanent) i believe this could be fun for the cops for them checking on boats randomly (which patrol should have permission to anytime) but also by the help of helicopters for spotting boats more easly, also for crims 'modern pirates" to be scouting in the sea looking for the TUG's, being able to rob the boat from the illegal fish when found in the storage.( not the legal fish) that should be untouched by crims. so see it from a point that its just crims collecting their tax i think this could make ocean RP more a thing, cops will be having fun, crims will be able to be modern pirates. and civilians, would have a fair chance to fish safely and make good money by investing in the boat and skill and i feel the way my suggestion is stated that it is a very balanced way for all players involved to do their part in the expierence. most of the positives lined up short - a separate selling drop off for only illegal fish, likely camped by crims at cayo pericho. - a normal sell off point for those who want to stay in line with the law and safe from crims - cops (patrol) will have a fun job, with permission to inspect any boat at any time. - a large investment for any player, to make larger return overtime. - crims will have their part of money for robbing illegal fish( not the legal fish) - helicopters will be very useful in this speeding up the process of finding boats on the ocean for patrol to chek on - ocean crim "modern pirates will be a thing from then on Quote
Andrexea Posted August 8, 2024 Report Posted August 8, 2024 Maybe not a tugboat but an actual commercial fishing boat or crabbing style boat. Would be neat if crabbing was introduced as well, dropping the pots, letting them soak for awhile then pulling them back up. So something like this for crabbing, Or this for a commercial fishing boat Though I dont know what the limitations are for adding vehicles that are not in GTA atm. Quote
