My life was an enigma, shaped by the streets and the man who raised me, Antonio Sorrento. Antonio wasn't just a trusted family friend; he was my guardian, mentor, and ultimately my betrayer. Antonio had carefully nurtured me, teaching me the ways of survival in Vice City, a city rife with ambition and hidden connections. Deception, manipulation, and cunning became my tools of trade. We orchestrated intricate schemes, expanded our illicit enterprises, and cemented our influence throughout the city. As I rose through the ranks of our criminal endeavors, the darkness in Antonio's heart became increasingly apparent. His insatiable lust for power overshadowed all else, and his loyalties grew uncertain. It was evident that his ambitions reached far beyond our partnership. The tipping point came when Antonio hatched a nefarious scheme that nearly led to my capture by the relentless grip of the law. A deal had gone sour, and the authorities were closing in. I barely managed to evade capture, but the betrayal left me shattered and alone, with no one to trust but myself. Leaving Vice City behind, I found a semblance of sanctuary in the turbulent world of San Andreas. There, I stumbled upon a formidable gang known as "Only the Family." While I lacked the family I'd always yearned for, they provided a sense of camaraderie, mutual trust, and belonging that filled the void in my life. However, I remained a mere "hang around" in the gang's hierarchy, not yet a full-fledged member. It was within the embrace of Only the Family that I learned new skills. They taught me the art of stealing cars, expertly disassembling them for valuable scrap, and even the intricate trade of planting drugs when necessary. In their midst, I honed my abilities and solidified my place within the gang's ranks. My journey led me through the war-torn neighborhoods of Los Santos and the gang-infested territories of Grove Street. As a hang-around, I worked tirelessly to prove my worth to the gang, determined to become a full-fledged member. But Antonio's treachery still cast a shadow over my life. His nefarious dealings in Vice City had not gone unnoticed, and the law enforcement's gaze remained fixed on me. The close call during that ill-fated deal had left a paper trail that could lead the police directly to me, and Antonio's manipulative tactics only further endangered my newfound sanctuary within Only the Family. In this world of chaos and crime, I sought not only my true calling but also a shot at redemption. My story, born in Vice City and unfolding in the heart of San Andreas, is a testament to the complex interplay of loyalty, betrayal, ambition, and reinvention, where the bonds formed with the members of Only the Family represented my only hope for salvation and a future beyond the darkness of my past. ColonelKabobz Posted October 14, 2023 Author Report Posted October 14, 2023 (edited) Syndicate Meets The Family With robberies on the rise, the gang known as the "Syndicate" approached us due to us constantly going after their men while they chop vehicles or pick plants. Coming to an agreement, they would now sell through us and we would leave them alone. The presence of Only The Family remained consistent, with our numbers on the rise. I was slowly gaining reputation within the gang, making my presence grow each and every day. Myself, Ling Lee and one other member from the gang checked Sea Labs, finding a man wearing a beater. We robbed him, taking his loot and stunting on him after doing so. I do not remember the events afterwards too well, must've fallen off my bike but it was my first real robbery with members of Only The Family. There will be more to come soon. We successfully managed to do so. It was an exciting night, full of activity within the gang. I woke up and ran to the block. I had a gun on my hip, and was waiting for my taxi to come. Lilymay Bryd accepted my taxi request. She came too late. Before I could even try to stash my gun, a swarm of cop cars came flying into the block. Starting from planting seeds, all the way to cooking coke. In my mind, the only thing I could picture was taking back our turf from The Lost MC. They decided to hit us in the night. Whereas we took back most, the island remained. My goal was to stock up as many drugs as possible, to take back our turf and ensure that no one fucks with our family ever again.
