Avon Miller - The Chamberlain Reaper.

Avon Miller is a twenty-two year old male from Chamberlain Hills. Avon lived at home in the projects with his father, mother, sister and older brother and like most families they had their issues. His father was the provider of the family and worked two jobs from early morning to late evening while his mother was a stay at home mother with her own demons to face as she was an alcoholic and struggled with substance abuse for most of her life.

With only his mother around in a parental capacity his up bringing wasn’t the greatest, his mother was more interested in finding her next drink then she was feeding or caring for Avon and his older brother who he looked to for guidance was too busy following in his mothers footsteps. Both his mother and brother struggling with substance abuse, Avon was bottom of the food chain, being neglected and beaten by not only his mother but his older brother too, his existence wasn’t needed or wanted by either of them.

Over time it began to take a toll on Avon’s mental state and he became very distant and withdrawn from everyone to the point where his father was beginning to get worried about what was happening to him. Realising what was going on his father gave his partner and eldest son a choice, change their ways or be removed from the family unit. Neither wanted to change so their father had no choice and kicked out both the older brother and the mother from the house in order to restore some sort of peace to Avon’s life and it worked… Somewhat.

Avon’s father still had to work, so out of the house all day, Avon was left to his own devices. Avon could see how hard his Dad worked just to continue to struggle but out of his window were all of the local teenagers and old kids making their own money and being independent and as time went on this became more and more appealing to Avon. Mixing with one of his friends from school Avon went from standing on the corner with one of his friends to one day holding drug packages for his friend and storing them at his own apartment. Realising what was happening one of the OG’s in the area gave Avon some money for his “Work”, which made Avon feel like he had some worth, a bit of value. Not only was it his Dad that could contribute to the home but he could now too… Slowly but surely Avon began to not only hold on to certain packages for the group but also dealing drugs for them too on the corners… Avon’s Dad knew what he was doing and tried to stop it as best he could but he was doing everything in his power to keep the roof over their heads he couldn’t keep an eye on Avon all of the time too.
