Carolin Rose was born on the 21st of July, 1997 in New Haven Connecticut into your average American family. It was evident to her familyĀ from early on that Carolin was a gifted individual. Carolin was able to do 5th-grade level math problems from the age of 5 and was also readingĀ on a 5th-grade level. She had a natural talent for school and that would become obvious later in her life.

As Carolin grew older she would become what everyone would call the stereotypical "nerd". This led to some obvious bullying in her life butĀ she would never let it bother her. She always put a smile on her face and ignored it. During this time she started thinking of her future and fell in loveĀ with journaling. She kept a journal that she has used every single day since she was 12 just giving herself an outlet to rant about the problems that she was havingĀ whether it was boy troubles, stress, or bullying she would just write it down and forget it ever happened. She took multiple journalism classes in her highschool ofĀ Ā Wilbur Cross High School. It was around this time when the journalism teacher approached her and told her about the opportunities Los Santos has for journalists.Ā The teacher toldĀ her if she was able to graduate within the top 5 of her class she could probably get a full-ride scholarship to the University of Los Santos and pursue the career sheĀ always dreamed ofĀ n journalism. She took what the teacher said to heart and would spend countless hours studying every single night, she never got below 100 on anotherĀ assignment, quiz, or testĀ in high school. She graduated as Valedictorian and received a full-ride scholarship to the University of Los Santos. It was a hard conversation she had toĀ have with her parents aboutĀ what her plans were but her parents supported her decision and just wanted their little baby to be happy.

Carolin packed herself 2 suitcases of clothes and bought a plane ticket to Los Santos and left the house en route to college at the University of Los Santos. It was a long andĀ grueling 8-hour flight but when she arrived in the city of Los Santos...she was stunned. It was everything she imagined, tall skyscrapers, cars honking, and tons of traffic, she wasĀ finally living in the big city and she couldn't wait to start her life. She called a cab and made her way to the University where she then found her dorm room and met her roommateĀ Kayla Macintyre. Kayla would grow to become Carolins' best friend in the world and they would always challenge each other.Ā  Kayla was a Biology major while Carolin wasĀ a Journalism major so they never had classes together but would always challenge each other by seeing who could get the higher GPA. They were so opposite yet so similarĀ and it made for one of the best friendships Carolin would ever have. Kayla was your stereotypical "Goth" girl while Carolin was your "Nerd" who wore big and round Hairy PotterĀ glasses. Even though Carolin had made a new best friend that was pushing her to be the best the realities of College quickly set in on her. During her first 2 years of collegeĀ sheĀ was able to live without getting a job, living solely off of her saved money from her high school job. This led to her having more time on her hands and being able to visit herĀ familyĀ every month or 2. After she ran out of her High school money she quickly realized how expensive college is and ended up working 1 or 2 jobs at a time to be able to affordĀ the rent for college. This made her stressed out a lot but she wasn't going to give up. It was her dream to be a journalist and she would work through it, and she did. CarolinĀ would balance working 1-2 jobs at a time with school and graduate after her 4th year at college with a Masters's Degree in Journalism. She moved away from college and intoĀ the heart of the city ready to start her life!
