This mod is ALLOWED

Installation

Since this is used with GTA:N the installation is different then.

1. Copy the PLD.asi into GTANetwork/bin

2. Copy the PLD.ini into your GTAV main directory.

3. Your done, launch GTA:N already.

IF you want to check if the mod is running correctly without going in-game then go ahead

and open up the ScriptHookV.log in your GTAV main folder.

This line will be in the log if PLD loads up correctly.

[22:58:19] INIT: Registering script 'PLD.asi' (0x00007FFF063D4EF0)

Hope you enjoy the mod.

See you in the world of Eclipse

Thanks, I just added all the files to GTAV folder, it got disabled by GTAN I think.

You got a nice location for it? Default location is at the same place as the Eclipse speedometer.

Please read the instructions again it clearly says to copy each file in a different place.

The .asi in GTANetwork/bin

and the .ini file in the GTAV folder.

I meant I did that before I read your post.

Also, found a good location (for me) for it, above the mini-map:

LocTextPosX = 25
LocTextPosY = 785
LocTextPosX_RadarLrg = 175
LocTextPosY_RadarLrg = 785

This is for 1080 monitor/window if anyone else would like PLD to be above their mini-map

Can you make a tutorial to edit position of the PLD

While you wait for Spark, here's a small guide:

Open the PLD.ini file that you put in the GTAV folder, I find Notepad++ suits editing files with code in them, but normal Notepad works as well.

In the file you will find

LocTextPosX = 320
LocTextPosY = 1035
LocTextPosX_RadarLrg = 470
LocTextPosY_RadarLrg = 1035

While I have no real idea what is what of "LocTextPos" and "LocTextPosX_RadarLrg" I just added/removed the numbers in equal amount.

The X location starts from the left, and counts pixels to the right, and the Y location starts from the top and counts pixels to the bottom. So if you would put all of the above settings to 1 in each, it would to at the top left on your screen. I set my settings to be

LocTextPosX = 25
LocTextPosY = 785
LocTextPosX_RadarLrg = 175
LocTextPosY_RadarLrg = 785

Which is above the mini-map, which suits me quite nice. If you have a bigger screen, you would have to do a trial and error to get it right. Hope this helped you a bit until Spark gets to work.

If you like your PLD more at the bottom middle

These are for a 1080 resolution

[ GENERAL ]
LocTextPosX = 890
LocTextPosY = 1035
LocTextPosX_RadarLrg = 1040
LocTextPosY_RadarLrg = 1035
LocTextSizeMult = 1.0
DisplayGameTime = true
AllowRadarSizeToggle = true
AllowControllerUse = false

[ MULTIPLAYER ]
ShowPlayerObituaries = false
DisplayPlayerBlips = false
DisplayTeamBlipsOnly = false

Above the minimap thanks Burnz

LocTextPosX = 25
LocTextPosY = 785
LocTextPosX_RadarLrg = 175
LocTextPosY_RadarLrg = 785

If you want to make your own position keep in mind to reduce or increase the same number also to the RadarLrg X or Y
