  1. A 100%, I just would like to see how a player driven economy changes up the gameplay experience considering the server has a healthy amount of players but not enough money circulating between players and those with millions don’t really have much to spend it on, which in return the inflation rises as not enough money is moving around but more is being generated off of thin air. That way everyone benefits is how I would like to see it.
  2. While I somewhat agree to a certain degree that the market shouldn’t be easily accessible, I don’t agree with how it is right now. The RP experience is based around a universe where there are criminals hence the name grand theft auto (kinda like Arkham city) sure there are cops, civilians, law and order. But the city is filled with criminals. The idea isn’t set in stone, it’s more like field of view on a certain aspect of the game that seems like it hasn’t been invested in.
  3. So I've played on here back when it launched and took a break till recently. I find that the economy circulation is kinda lacking and with the help of already implanted features we can add a more in depth layer. Have an interface where it shows two type of markets. The legal market which is accessible by anyone on the server regardless of affiliation given that they own a laptop. The legal market then have multiple categories for selling items and buying. Categories such as automotive, real estate, contractor jobs (player to player ex: body guard, etc.) And there would be buying ads as well as selling ads according to each category. For the illegal market (black market): Players can only access it if they are in an illegal faction, with no rank required as long as you are in one of the gang official factions. Just like how the legal market would play out, the black market can be used to sell drugs, weapons, illegal materials, prostitution, etc. Could also be used to place bounties and what not. Now to counter that, a police faction could either be formed, or just given to any squad called the intelligence squadron (name could be whatever lol). This unit can access the black market to attempt to catch those who are uninformed. Thus making the black market high risk/ high reward type of field to where you gotta be careful of who you want to sell to or buy from because if its not a cop that is trying to arrest you it could be another gang member trying to rob you. (just like how the deep web operates right now irl, its basically rng and it is constantly monitored by law enforcement) Conclusion: with the access of certain features that are already in game, I think this feature could enable a lot more new opportunities not to only the role playing experience but also unlocks paths to where people can build a character that is based solely on trading whether it is illegal or legal. Thus making the economy player driven instead of dumping/generating money from thin air. Which in return enables the rise and fall of players and factions financially. And using that feature would give the devs a better idea on how the economy is doing and adjust certain jobs based on the inflation rate, and would also be able to adjust said inflation rate.
