  1. Current: If you get put into DOC and a Weazel News employee posts an advertisement you'll see it in your chat which is treated as your phone for Weazel. You can also do /vieworders to see what orders have been placed in for the trucking freelance job workers.

    Example:

New: Once you get put into DOC you would no longer receive Weazel News notifications/advertisements or have the option to view orders for the trucking job as RPly your phone would be switched off and in your locker, therefore you wouldn't be able to see any of those updates.

  2. For sure a +1, realistically speaking you can move around the car from seat to seat without too much stuggle. To balance this in situations such as chases or whenever you'll need to switch seats you could have a little timer like when you drink water/eat food say for example 2 seconds so its not abused when PD need to identify people in a car etc..

  3. Very big +1 from me, phones are one thing which every single player uses all the time. Making sure that the phone is as best as it can possibly be before moving onto updating other things I believe should take priority. I really hope the devs take this one into consideration as I can't think of one person that wouldn't want an updated phone, from the small things such as a little timestamp on messages to slightly bigger things like scriptly taking pictures, maybe turning life invader into a non-login app so more people use it, group chats as many people have mentioned many times, potentially a pinging system which could be used when stranded in odd places, this would also be very useful for new players. Updated bank accounts where you can see transactions and shared bank accounts for businesses. So many things that would make the RP experience hundreds of times more enjoyable.

here is an example I found off google:

Each weapon can be distinguished by just look at its sprite rather than reading off the name

Right now every weapon just looks like this:weapon.JPG.f049cb67bb1c9d0f55e395f505f9783f.JPG

Ah I see, yeah would be very nice to have this +1

  5. Problem

Often times you'll go past the impound lot seeing people just queing up for the impound lot without an officer even there, this is really boring and people wait for up to like 40 minutes because they need their car for everything.

My most recent interaction with this problem was when I waited around 30 minutes for the police to arrive and release my car. Finally once a cop by the name of Juan arrived I got cited with a face concealment charge with no warning. This then caused me to pay it of as I know officers can't release vehicles from the impound with pending tickets. Once I returned the cop was gone and I began waiting again which is why I made this suggestion.

    Resolution:

One thing you could do it to allow for the player waiting for their car to release it themselves after about 10 minutes of wait time and it would work similarly to how the self-repair works currently. The would allow for the people that are waiting for their car to not spend a lot of their OOC time doing nothing to just get their car out with a bit of RP as you should. This would be used when PD are low on numbers or if they're very busy with things such as a Code 1 situation. The reason for having to wait 10 minutes first is so that if there is PD avaliable anywhere within the Los Santos and they're avaliable, they will have enough time to drive there and release it as they do now.

    Rules:

When an officer is within the gates of the gates of the impound you are not to self-release your car.

Tid bit of a problem now since this thread has went to throwing me under a proverbial bus and putting a target on my back both IC'ly and OOC'ly by making an entire forum thread about it instead of discussing it through PM's.

    Hey Juan,

I don't know you ICly or OOCly at all which gives me absolutely no reason to like you said "proverbially throw you under the bus" as these weren't my intentions at all. I just wanted to point my most recent interaction with an RP scenario which could've been played out a little bit better. This wasn't a personal attack on you simply a chance to demonstrate what it is that we should avoid doing as a community to better it in the future. One thing that would've made the RP of higher quality was if you saved his ID somewhere on notepad document or something and simply explain why he should try and not do that in the future and instead maybe just RP the pushing and shoving for a more emersive RP experience. Once again. I have nothing against you OOCly I'm just using this RP scenario as an example of what should be avoided in situations where you feel another player broke a "not so RP ruining rule" if you will.
