Running around DOC is chaos with this hotkey as it ends up with you tackling every door whilst trying to respond to things.

You can prevent that by remembering to let go of shift before you get to the door but it's a lot more hassle than it's worth.

More time in prison, means more potential for something to happen.
I'm not really sure how many more concessions you people want when it comes time to face the music, honestly.

You can serve the 10 minutes it takes to get you processed, because I know exactly how this is going to go. Someone is going to be all nice and compliant until the cuffs are on, then they're gunna drag their feet to be OOCly annoying because they know their time is counting down.

If you want to go to jail within a reasonable window of time, answer the /dos you are being asked in a timely fashion, don't resist, don't go into /b whinging and you'll be wearing orange before you can say where the stamps at.

People want realism when it suits their suggestion, otherwise convenient details go out the window.

If you wanna be making suggestions about time locked up, fuckin make like 20 minute charges and above prison so people are idle in jail at Faction HQs for 45 minutes. Something that actually matters, not getting 10 minutes off your sentence in a way that benefits you to be a goober.

To add to this as a member of DOC.

95% of the time, the delays we incur are due to inmates. It's quite common to type out a /me to do with searching an inmate or something similar and there's no response for a good while. However, you'll get that same person ICly or sometimes even OOCly screaming about how everything takes so long and you're this and that.

As an aside to what some people have referred to as 'time served'. IRL, time served is not something you can replicate in RP as the police are the judge and jury, you don't go to court before you go to jail, it's the other way round so to argue that as a reason doesn't quite wash.

A fairly major flaw that comes to mind with this is what happens if someone is released while being transported to DOC, where do they go?

It also would look pretty shoddy from a server which prides itself on realistic RP. Realistically your sentence starts in the prison, not at the side of the road.

Id like not to! Ill just sit in my apartment all day if i dont want to deal with them, cause thats what its come to recently

Ultimately though, if you're gonna rp as a criminal you have to be prepared for the police to go after you, it's the nature of the beast. You can't then complain when the police attempt to suppress you or your gang's activities.

    Hey!

If you're trying to put specialized ammo (AP, HP, FMJ) into a gun, you need to make sure the gun has the corresponding clip mod from the selection screen upon purchasing. In this case, it should be the "AP Ammo Mod". The clip mod will enable you to put that particular ammo in the gun.

That makes sense, i was really confused because the ammo was in the gun already but when i stripped it and tried to put it back in it wouldn't have it. Thank you!

Issue/bug you are reporting: When you try and put .50 AP ammo into the gun it says it isn't compatible despite the UI in the gun store saying otherwise.

Expected behavior:  The Ammo would be loaded into the gun

Evidence, notes worth mentioning, steps to replicate: buy regular .50 ammo from the gun store, I used AAA guns and then try and use the ammo in the gun, the gun in question was obtained pre update, not sure if this is relevant. Hasn't been tried on any other guns so not sure if this is an isolated issue to just the .50.

This could be pursued ICly. Use the CB radio to call out a radio freq to use for all truckers for example. Or put out a weazel ad to promote it. Lots of ways to make a movement happen and establish your own truckers frequency.

I completely understand that mindset but why should trucking be the only job which doesn't have access to a VOIP radio frequency. It's not as if there's no one doing the job unlike other freelance jobs...

  8. Mega -1. The opportunities for people to metagame are endless and would just cause a lot more problems especially when it's not exactly solving an issue which already exists.
