  1. Born in a small midwestern town Ashton always had an ear for music. At age 10, he found a cheap knockoff electric guitar in a neighbors garbage can. This discovery kicked off a sequence of events his young mind couldn't have fathomed. Having only one string, Ashton spent hours frantically plucking away simple melodies to his favorite songs cementing his love for music as well as refining his young ear. Gradually he began adding instruments to fool around on, including a drum set his father had originally purchased for himself. 5 years later (still with no training) Ashton was able to play drums, guitar and piano to varying degrees. Being homeschooled by his mother, Ashton was afforded more flexibility than most, and he used this to his advantage. A few years later he got his first computer and everything changed. He was now able to record himself playing various instruments and produce his own songs from his bedroom. During the next few years, Ashton isolated himself completely, spending countless hours slaving over songs that would never live to be heard by anyone but him. Perfectionism was both a strength and a hinderance for him, but he soldiered on, always improving and learning. Fast forward, Ashton is now 22 and on his way to meet with the owner of a small studio to discuss working as a producer for local artists. After reaching out to countless people in the industry, he had finally found someone willing to take a chance on him. He lacked experience but his work ethic and natural ability helped a lot to make up for it. Ashton was having a blast, partying with musicians late into the night and helping them refine their ideas and sounds,, but it wouldn't last long. Eventually Ashton was introduced to cocaine, a drug that courses through the streets of Los Santos. Combined with the late nights, and the boost in confidence it gave him in this new unfamiliar place, the drug became problematic almost immediately. After almost 5 years of use, he was fired from the studio due to his erratic behavior and lack of quality output. Being inexperienced he'd also signed a contract that left him with little to no royalties from the music he produced. Left broke in a city with an appetite for souls, what will he do? Wither and die, or soldier on? I guess we will find out!
