  1. Explain how this does not encourage good role play. Good Rp is not only being a clerk at 7/11 or a drug dealer on a street corner. Good role play is not knowing who your fucking with and being afraid that they could kill you. Assassin are real and hit men do exist in the real world. We may never have had to experience them because we are not part of the real life underworld, but they are real. The city is also a crime ridden city it would be way more logical for their to be killers for hire in a place where gangs and drugs run rampant. Also to your other point Steel could only be targeted once a month and it would cost large amount of money to kill him. So even if he got killed twelve time it would be twelve time in a year’s time. So it is not really a big deal. That would not be Detrimental to his role play experience.
  2. Would it be possible to make a job as an assassin? They idea would be to create a group that accept contracts for large amounts of money to kill targets of interest. Only Gangs would be able to hire the assassins and a formal contract would go to an in game character to determine if the job is worth doing or if it breaks role play. Gangs can make request for opened or closed contracts meaning it is a free for all for all the assassin in an open contract or only give to one specific assassin. This in game person the “Choreographer” If he accepts the contract and believes it valid enough to warrant the services of an assassin. He sends the contract to a network that only associates with the assassin have access too. Making the contract known to the sever thus eliminating Death Matching because the hit Is known by a wide group of people. That can then inform the target letting him prepare. The network will be a private radio channel for gang leaders ,informants for the assassin, and other associates that could be affiliated. Their are rules for a contract that all parties able to hire assassins can read. A contract cost an amount based what offense had occurred. Every contract has base cost Of 100,000 A “Black Eye” contract is the most expensive contract. Base cost 400,000. The “Black Eye” is a contract that is vague and is meant as an insult or If an act committed by a player would constitute something so horrific that it warrants the use of this contract. Examples would be a hit on rival gangs leader or top enforcers in the gang to insult the gang or to show it’s incompetence. “Black Eyes”will be paid regardless of success. A standard contract would consist of offenses such as rating to the cops , betraying the gang, offending the wrong people, stealing from the gang. Staged Contract is a base cost 200,000. A staged contract is a contract that requires extra steps for the targets death, such as pulling the tongue through his throat or stealing the targets car. All contracts expire after two days unless extended the most any contract can be extended is to ten days. Every day beyond the first two would cost the base amount again on the contract. Example 100,000 Contract Extended to three days becoming 200,000. Open contracts will Quintuple the price of the contract and all available assassin will be notified and have the choice to take the contract. Closed contracts must be validated by the Choreographer, but details and price will discussed by the assassin and the contractor and kept confidential. No contract may be repeated on the same target for a month. Only one contract may be issued by “High Command” per every three weeks. Any contract can be refused by the assassin or the Choreographer for any reason. All contracts will be paid before the hit commences, and if the assassin is killed or the target is not killed by the specified amount of time then the money will be returned.(However the Choreographer can repute that a contract is valid if the target has refused to play after discovering the contract. Such as logging off and not playing the game. The Choreographer must provides evidence to repute this such as time stamped photos proving the player was not on.) This is a rough idea of what I think would add a huge cloak and dagger feeling to the game. I would definitely like to know if this would be possible to set up or something close to this because I think this would be fun and would be great addition for the fear role play mechanics.
