  1. Player(s) being reported: 82,98 Date of interaction reported: 5/22/2020 Unix time stamp from HUD: 1590128654 Your characters name: Treyvonne Demarquise (159) Other player(s) involved: Aaron Wiezman (53), Meltzer Leibowitz (167) Specific rule(s) broken: IC and OOC Interactions Players are required to remain in-character (IC) at all times. Text chat, VOIP, radio, phone and commands like /ME and /do are to be used only for IC content. IC content must not contain acronyms like “lol” or “u” or smiley faces excluding IC SMS. For OOC content, players must use chat commands that encase the content in brackets. For example: (( this is OOC content )). OOC chat commands are /OOC, /O, /B, /PM and /F. OOC videos or screenshots can be used as IC evidence only if the footage contains the character using the /RECORD command to hold a phone in their hand. Property interiors can have cameras only if the owner roleplays installation and takes time stamped screenshots with the camera angle as evidence. Exteriors only if there is an object. You may roleplay a hidden camera, wire, or dash cam in a vehicle if recordings are unedited and include roleplay starting and ending. Attempts to search must be answered truthfully in /do. Sexual, torture, or extremely gross roleplay is allowed only if all involved parties (participants and witnesses) have agreed to it in OOC text chat, prior to the actual roleplay being performed. Only administrators are allowed force pause RP or investigate rule breaches. Only administrators are allowed to void roleplay scenarios at their discretion. Players are welcome to voice their opinion but should never disobey administrators. A /REPORT does not pause roleplay unless an admin does so. Metagaming (MG) Metagaming is the act of relaying IC information through any method not considered IC that has the potential to change current or future roleplay scenarios or using that information. Mixing IC and OOC information without any benefit is a minor MG offense. For example, a player uses IC chat to call someone by their player ID displayed above their head. Fear Roleplay (FRP) Fear roleplay is the concept of roleplaying fear for your character’s safety and life. Examples (but not limited to), where your character’s life is considered to be in direct danger: • When you are on foot or bike and a weapon is aimed at you at close range. • When you’re in a vehicle that is stalled or turned off and a weapon is aimed at you close range. • When the attacker lowers their weapon to type or roleplay, your life remains in direct danger. • Driving a vehicle into an active shootout more than once without the intent of providing cover for a friend or yourself, or fleeing with it. Examples (but not limited to), where your character’s life is NOT considered to be in direct danger: • When you are in a car which engine is not stalled. • When you have a firearm drawn and are facing the other person before they attacked. • When the attacker’s view is obstructed by an object or when they turn their back on you. As a victim, whose life is in direct danger: • You must display reasonable value for your life and comply with the demands of your attacker. • You cannot call 911 or call your friends or allies to aid you. Deathmatch (DM) Deathmatching is the act of attacking a player without a proper roleplay reason and interaction. Examples of valid reasons to attack another player: • If they attempt to arrest or hurt you, an ally, or damage your property. • If they report you to the police for a serious crime. • If they are not in compliance with plausible demands, attempt to escape, or call backup. A player cannot kill their victim if the victim is in compliance with the demands. A player must allow their victim enough time to comply with the demands. If a player informs you that your VOIP isn’t working, you must either fix your VOIP using appropriate commands or use text to deliver your demand(s). Vehicles cannot be used to attack a player on foot more than once, including a failed attempt. Vehicles cannot be used as a weapon in an active shootout unless it's unavoidable when fleeing an active shootout. Killing a player that has obeyed all orders and demands during a roleplay situation is allowed, with roleplay, only within 3 hours of: Severe hostile or criminal action is taken against you, e.g. someone is robbing you at gunpoint. (Excluding police aiming a gun at you.) Someone is attempting to take your life. Someone is attempting to take the life of your close friend or ally, or if you have witnessed it happen. You must explain your reason to kill to the player IC and have OOC evidence proving your reason. How did the player break the rule(s)? Aaron Wiezman, Meltzer Leibowitz, and myself were performing a holdup situation on 82 after he offered to sell an illegal weapon. This was done outside of a No Crime Zone. After giving him a warning to get down (and showing him the /down command ooc), he did not respond to the rp and began telling us we are breaking rules ooc. He said ooc that he was calling an admin and said RP was on pause. Shortly after, player 98 arrived at the scene (82 was being held up and is not allowed to call friends or metagame). 98 proceeded to DM Aaron Wiezman, Meltzer Leibowitz, and myself without RP. In summary, 82 took advantage of the fact that we are new players and tried to mislead us ooc in order to get out of the rp scenario. He then used means outside of the rules to communicate with player 98 to DM us. Below is the full chat log of the incident (screenshot 1-4), the holdup on 82 (screenshot 5), the DMs by 98 (screenshot 6 - 7) Evidence of rule breach:
  2. First off I just wanna say I apologize for using work vehicles for other purposes and it will not happen again. I just joined the server the day before this incident and was ignorant of the rule. The other people with me are also new. To address the incident, we were performing a hold up on this vehicle passing through the tunnel. This was stated verbally to the other players, but they did't respond to the RP. They immediately began threatening to report ooc. This discussion happened with player 43 and 458 (myself), while the other two trucks were on their way from the opposite end of the tunnel. The other two trucks arrived and blocked the SUV from the opposite end (screenshot #3). After failing to get any RP interaction, we moved and let the SUV through. If there were any damages incurred on the SUV I am more than willing to pay repair costs. Once again, I now realize that we were mistaken to use the work vehicles in this manner, and it will not happen again.
