Reason given for decision: Refusing to RP with PD after returning from a server disconnection; claiming the outcome would be different. Player is argumentative and refusing to cooperate and RP.
Your explanation of what happened: Ash and I had left from burger shot heading over to DOC to get Tyrone. Ying Li pulled us over and asked for our licences and for the masks to be removed and we complied. After he returned we where told, "You are free to go once my lights are off." We waited until he was back in his car and then drove off. Ying li then proceeded to pull us over 200 feet away for not complying with an officer and Ash was taken into custody. I then said, "Save POV because this is corruption." While this situation was on-going, my power cut out. I called the power company to see what had happened to only find out the station had to restart. During this time, I was contacted in Code0 and mentioned the situation. Once I was able to log back in, once I returned I was immediately placed into cuffs and an admin Harveey spoke to me. We spoke back and forth with him about the situation I was in, as I was in the passenger seat when the power cut out and I was disconnected. Since the RP had kept going and the car was gone and I was left in the same space as when I disconnected, I had no way to RP out of the situation, nor did I have any options to RP a way through the circumstance. I was hoping to dump the gun in hopes of human error to make the cops think it was not mine and then avoid charges; I also thought about driving off in Ash's car, which I have keys to. However, I was told there was no option and was banned, even though the RP situation was not concluded and I was unable to explain my situation due to the fact that I was sitting in the passenger seat of the car throughout the incident.
Why should your appeal be accepted?: I do believe the ban is not warranted and that the incident could have been handled differently. In addition to being unhappy with this outcome, I am also an active player and donator to this server. I appreciate the work that has been put into it and I would like to continue to engage with it with the same character that has been active for 5 years as well as with the friends an connections that have been made while role playing Colton Bryce.
I would like to ask for a review of this incident in hopes that the account will not be permanently banned.
