You know criminals don't make that much money. It's risky job. Most likely the labs all raided by the police or you will get robbed. There are also cheaper stores, you just gotta know the places. However, This is game, not real life. This is how you make inflation. Raising the salaries would raise the price of that burger since people have more money. Raising salaries wouldn't solve anything.

I'd say we gotta lower import prices for those burgers and add more houses.

I understand what you mean, as it's been a few days now I've realised that my only prime issue is being unable to have a place where I could store my stuff, having to carry things on you is dangerous and storing everything you own in your car is also ineffective. Being forced to spend so many hours into an rp game just to be able to get a property is very demeaning because I personally want to be able to rp myself into fun and exciting situations and not allowing the game to feel like a chore whenever I play just to reach a good living standard.

I understand how the game works and we are trying to make it a real place but spending weekly high rent is huge extortion, maybe if the gov started providing cheaper housing for a good period of time whilst someone is able to build a bank balance that would be healthier in rp dynamics.

"In economics, inflation is a sustained increase in the general price level of goods and services in an economy over a period of time. When the general price level rises, each unit of currency buys fewer goods and services; consequently, inflation reflects a reduction in the purchasing power per unit of money – a loss of real value in the medium of exchange and unit of account within the economy." -Wikipedia

    -1, let's not create inflation

Inflation increases due to the government requesting and creating more money via bonds system and therefore the reserve banks add more money which is then added to the economy and with more money flowing the value of things naturally adds up. In this game money is being generated through legal jobs which are limited to the amount of time you spend but with a game where the player is able to go and generate so much wealth from making narcotics then the game will be heavily imbalanced due to the criminals owning everything and the commoners are stuck paying $500 for a burger.

Fairly certain someone worked out the maths and postal/money transporter jobs earn more than the 5 grand average that legal faction members get paid.

Plus I'm currently a police officer and by your own maths you are earning more than me as a bus driver.

Yes but how much more fun and engaging is it to be an officer than a bus driver hitting the same route every time non stop for the whole 40 hours. These jobs are  boring jobs and don't have much rp engagement in them so adding more pay would add an incentive.

Look at @Jasmine's reply and you'll understand how this looks like. What about for the first few hours of doing a job as a new player you get a massive bonus just so that the player is able to build a life for him/herself and then cut that out.

I have seen other places that will give a free car and a free small house just to build yourself up and after a while they're removed

There are plenty of people who live basic civilian lives as a middle ground. If you are consistently grinding for money and are unhappy with that then I advise you to take a step back and look at how you are spending your time. This is not a grind simulator by any means. You can partake in RP at any moment in time, you are just directing most of yours at making money to buy property. Adding higher pay would only create inflation and you will be in the same position, nothing will change. "First available" jobs already pay decently to provide citizens with the means to buy necessities. Also, the value of drugs should in no way go down, that would all but cripple criminals who, in my opinion, need avenues for higher profit (of course at the expense of more time spent on these money making activities).

    Overall -1 from me

You are confirming my point, the main two jobs in this city are either being a drug dealer or a police officer. if the jobs included more pay and reduced the risk of having drug dealers and criminals in general the game would be different.

Thats what happens you need to earn your money which your doin just one of them things where every one has done

    Please hear me out.

I am sure we all have a life outside of playing games and as much as I love RP gaming I find it hard to play games in general but I do play when I get the chance and that's usually for 2-3 hours maximum and that's every other day. so say I play for 1 hour just driving and I play 4 times a week it would take me 10 weeks ((IRL) to earn 200k.  that is too much and is stretching things, maybe if the devs decide to give everyone a free property when the move to the city so they can keep their stuff and slowly upgrade then it would make things better. Otherwise right now you are either a police officer or you are a criminal, there is no middle ground.

  6. The economy of the city is getting higher and higher and the jobs that you could get straight away are not providing us with enough money to live a sustained life.

The government jobs require you to have some sort of clean record otherwise you are not going to get a job position, yet the city jobs that are available right away are not giving enough pay that most of the citizens are ending up doing crime.

The other available jobs that can give some decent pay are the farmer and the miner yet the risks are high and could get you robbed or even killed.

If the city gov really wants to cut down on the crime rate then they should seriously consider giving more money to the legal jobs and cut down on the value of the narcotics.

It takes approx 10-15minutes ((IRL)) to drive the bus and get paid $800 so in one hour it you'll earn $4800 approx

So you'll need to drive the bus for a total of 40 hours ((IRL)) to earn 192k and that could open yourself to an opportunity to get a property with 1G.

I want to play and have fun in the game but such a long time to build a life at the city makes things very hard.

I would love to play in a way where I could get my property and I could get my car and work say 20% of the duration of which I am playing the game and spend the other 80% in the session socialising and having fun with people, right now I get on for a couple of hours and all I'm doing is avoiding getting robbed whilst trying to earn peanut money to save up for a property that I will get in about 5 months ((IRL))

  7. I agree with this, I am scared of leaving to the motorway because I will get robbed by the gangs. I am scared of going to the mines because I will get robbed. I am scared of going to the farms because I will get robbed. I am scared of going to the shops / petrol stations / barber and even driving around because I will get robbed.

Whats worse is getting robbed in the car park right next to the police station and having to wait over 10 minutes for a dispatch to come... What is this behaviour.

  8. from the grapevine I have heard that most of the cameras are located near the ncz areas. I would suggest that you follow the speed limit because the police will catch you and if they do it'll be worse that just a ticket.

In terms of jobs you should consider being a farmer as the pay is a lot better than being a delivery driver. One job at the farm will be able to fund your monthly rent of a property.

When you log off, where do you leave it?

Also do you have a video of the briefcase one?

Hi, I leave the crate either on me (pick up) or in the car. the issue seems to occur even when I am online and if i leave it for a while the things in there go missing.

I do not have a video of the briefcase as after i put it in the crate it also went missing so I no longer have it.

I don't know what program to use to record my game play so if you could recommenced something I will happily film it and show you.

Okay so. You need to understand that this is feature not a bug. This is how its supposed to work. Thats why i told you not to leave your stuff inside. Crates are not the same as bags.

They are used for something else, something you should find icly im afraid

Hi, for the whole time of me playing on this server i have always left my stuff in there and have never had an issue and this has only happened recently. Can you please let me know where you are getting your information from to see how reliable your source is.

edit: also this thing is happening to the briefcase as well, you cant say that that is temporary.

I dont know what you expected if it says "temporary".

Solution...... simlly dont leave your items inside of a crate......problem solved. As easy as that.

that is not a solution my friend as a crate is supposed to behave the same way a bag does. temp storage is for things like government trucks not for personal items. my items are not supposed to just disappear into thin air whenever they please.

As much as I appreciate your help and input I am afraid that your post is very far away from the actual solution.

  12. Date and time (provide timezone): started on 09/01/2019 and carried on till today

    Character name:  jordan glowstick

    Issue/bug you are reporting:

my crate / backpack keep saying temproary inventory and every time i leave the game and back the items in tehre disapear. I have lost so many items and i have no idea.

    Expected behavior:

leave my items in the inventory and have them stay there with them disapearing.

i leave my items in there and a few hours later they disapear. I really want my items back.
