Prison RP is something many wish for and expect but honestly it's hard to get down. Having to have 24/7 faction for the most part, and expecting both parties to ensure that they RP properly.

The way I view the aspect of it, is simply either having an extensive Prison RP experience already developed or making the sentences shorter. At least until a full RP experience is implemented.

Fixing the poker issues and improving the UI would no doubt be an amazing thing to add.

While on the topic of poker, would be awesome to actually be able to buy a poker table either from the furniture store or local stores and set them up in your house so you and yours friends could have a "poker night."

Civilian RP has become something similar to "limbo." It's a "neutral" spot for many people, work a job that requires you to do basic task either faction wise or freelance jobs and then make the move to either PD, SD, or DOC. Alternatively, work the legal job until you have made enough to start up your criminal path.

Those that wish to base their characters RP within the "civilian world" are faced with a lackluster experience when it comes to memorable RP experiences, compared to others.

Occasional night clubs, fishing at the pier after doing faction work or that's your only money maker. Other than just finding people to hangout with or get lucky and be on during special events, there's no constant RP for civilians.

Of course, players can already try to establish places/events regularly but it's always hit or miss, meaning bigger events are typically scheduled for server peak time and leaves the rest of the players who are only able to play during slower times.

We need something to do/go to conversate/RP with not only fellow civilians but just our fellow players.

The removal of human meat further restricts forms of role-play for criminals.

Why can't somebody role-play gathering human meat/organs and selling it off to a black market dealer? I think if "human meat" should be added back it needs to be done differently, a black market NPC could be used as a neutral location for people to role-play selling off organs they may have collected from their fallen enemies.

This is exactly what I was thinking, takes what some seem "non realistic" and adds a much more realistic approach to organ selling.

  5. What's going on folks, I've been apart of the "GTA RP" community for about 10 years now and feel I've ran into a bit of a problem.

Most of my roleplaying history was SAMP RP servers, so text RP is one of my strong suits. I can recall about five different characters, which were all very different ranging from race, background, and their flaws/personalities.

Moving to Eclipse, voice RP was so foreign to me and at times very nerve-racking, coming up with vocals to a character and messing with accents and all that fun stuff. Just making my character sound and look unique, which leads me to my question.

"How do you guys adapt/become more comfortable when developing a new character?"

Get a gun where you can conceal better than. Now you have a way to protect yourself without the risks of a cop seeing you have a gun. It's not going a bit TOO far at all, and it is VERY fair.

Did you not read my whole post or just the last part? My main character doesn't need to worry about hiding it from police officers but hiding it from people who are just scanning for .50's to rob.

Also, I stated that there shouldn't be any bias towards PD or Crim's "Winning" from a certain change or added feature, but just promoting good RP. However, it appears there's a problem that some people don't fully RP situations and just see a gun on someones back and immediately attempts to arrest them or harass them about it.

  7. Here we go again with a very PD vs Crim argument which should just be a discussion of overall RP.

Seems very fucked up that certain PD characters would harass and not role-play a situation in which someone is obviously trying to conceal a .50 or whatever weapon it may be via baggy clothing just because they see a couple of pixels clipping through it.

To add CIV RP to the discussion, why exactly should the weapon i bought to protect myself have drawbacks or cons so to speak? Doesn't make sense RP wise.

Of course, on topic of realism I understand a .50 IRL wouldn't be easy to carry around concealed but come on that's going a bit TOO far. Keep it fun and fair.

However, I do agree that the "Tax Brackets" need some adjusting to align with the inflation that the servers economy has faced. Currently the "maximum" tax bracket is $1,000,000. In my opinion this should be increased to anywhere in the range of 3-5 mil minimum, and then scaling up the lower tax brackets ranges to align with this.

+1 with the OP and this suggestion.

Adding more depth economy wise and give a little break for those in a lower tax bracket and newer players

  9. Yeah, I'm not too sure what's going on in this thread. Thought we would be kinda happy about cheaper housing with two car garage parking. It's a shared living space with many other players, that could lead to various other types of projects in the future.

Just take the awesome development and the fact that it works as well as some cheaper housing. No need for a whole economic breakdown on the housing market.

  10. Honestly, I love the apartments and awesome local parking in the buildings garage.

However, I initially thought interiors would vary depending on where in the city you are as well as price. Eclipse Towers or even Rockford Hills has the "high society" feel. Versus those next to MotorSport it would be a bit more " normalish?" I'm sure these are soon to come in some fashion, awesome implementation of group housing in one location.
