I'm just trying to get started here. I like stories. I like storytelling. I've never really "played" a character, though. I enjoyed playing GTA5 (mostly on PS3/4), even Online. But the Heists were just 4 mini missions against NPCs glued together to form an overall heist. They had start and stop points. It didn't feel whole, there was no real story progression or arc, no consequence to the whole Online game. Unless you somehow have 32 friends all on the same game at the same time (and how?!) there's no continuity from one day to the next. And if you joined the wrong server, you had a pretty good likelihood of having some cool guy decide to follow you around spawn killing you with his tank until you either look for a new server or quit.
I'm hoping this is better.
