I have not downloaded any "packages", only the Rage launcher.

Hello, I am trying to play on the server for the first time. I have the correct IP server and port listed on the "Direct Connect" tab, downloaded .NET Framework, and I have launched the RAGE launcher as administrator. Here is what I see for a few seconds before the game completely closes to then suggest safe mode. Forgive the fact that I had to alt-tab in order to get the screenshot properly working.
