24-Karat is a gang of misfits attempting to strike it rich. The people within our group can range anywhere from Russian mobsters who are trying to fit in with these new American gangs, bored blue-collar workers looking to make a little dough in their free time, homeless beggars who just want to have a life and make a bit cha-ching too, or even former criminals looking to get into the act again. Most of us have been getting picked on by other gangs overpowering the fact that there is more than us but we look to change that, when someone rolls up on us, the gold cars and Gucci clothes should strike fear into all of their eyes causing them to flee as fast as possible. Overall, We all may look or act different in certain ways but we all have one goal set in our minds, to make fat stacks, gain fame, and be known everywhere in the city.
As a leader or co-leader, you can not be rolling down the streets unnoticed. Our leaders are pimping out in their rides with a gold wrap and some nice fur coats while they sip on some cognac. The other higher ups are also ballin’ but obviously not as hard as their leaders. The recruits struggle to hang on to the rope, due to bills or gang contributions, but they all make money when the time comes.
Key activities in 24-karat are going to stick to the illegal side of work. Most of our recruits are sticking to the store robberies since all it takes is one gun to the head and you make yourself a decent amount of cash. Also, the recruits are desperate for any amount of money, so you better not leave your car out and/or unlocked because it will be gone within minutes. The others who like to branch out into drug side of illegal work hit up the drug labs. They make anything ranging from weed to meth. The people in between the leader and recruits typically do all of the above as to provide a means of protection for the less heavily armed recruits. The co-leaders and leaders are handling the business side of the gang whether it be allying with another gang or dealing with the people who do not fit in with the rest of the group.
Most of our recruits look towards the easiest and fastest ways to make some cash. These actions vary from making drugs at the local drug lab or robbing a rich and dumb business owner. Our soldiers are working on training all of the recruits into soldiers. The leaders are working towards bigger numbers while also having an almost unlimited supply of guns. The goals vary depending on the person, but we all aim to become well-known as quick as possible.
The long-term goals are not completely planned out but we do know what our overall goals are in the future. Large scale robbery is obviously in the mind because of the fact that this could lead to large quantities of cash or either items worth cash amounts. Turf wars will probably come up a couple times throughout our lifetimes so we'll always have to be prepared for something like that. You can’t be in a gang if you’re not making drugs. This is why we aim to eventually take over drug labs and produce bulk drugs.
There are multiple things required to join our gang. These consist of:
-Their character has at least 3000xp
-They understand all of the server rules
-They are capable of participating in our high quality roleplay
-Their character owns at least one car that is not considered “Low-End”
The typical appearance of members can vary as long as you have some sort of luxury or Gucci clothing on. One thing is mandatory, gold, gold, gold. Cars may vary as well some of us have fine taste in classics, some may like sportier vehicles, while others may be more practical. But once again, the car must be coated in gold.
OOC 24-Karat hot time zones are in the US and Europe. To be even more specific weekends are our primary play times. But sporadically throughout the week, there is potential for activity. We do have real lives after all. OOC our overall goal is to create enjoyable content for both ourselves and others around us. We want to improve the RP experience as a whole and create dynamic and engaging content. Without of which RP would simply not be fun. On the other hand, we want what all players want, fun content and to have nice things.
