A lot of you are saying that we are calling you business owners out but in fact if I didn't start this we would still have silent air about the whole situation. I was unaware of how high the tax is. I understand profit margins are slim because of it and other expenses.
And calling Truckers a side job is a big insult to us. This is our career, we live in our rigs, we breathe and eat in our rigs. Trucking isn't a side job, it's our way of life. We all enjoying driving our rigs and transporting goods to business but it's coming to a point I'm hardly making enough for the upkeep of my rig. After slugging 20k of fuel up to the top of the map and back for $1,000 hardly covers fuel costs, and the way some people drive, having to repair our big rigs.
