I would like to apologize for my inappropriate behavior in the meeting yesterday. I should not have said that in front of your team members and should have contained myself. I realize that I should have given you the feedback in a polite and decent manner after the meeting was called off. I realized my mistake that very moment but could not take my words back at that point. I promise such misdemeanors will not be repeated again.
I am sure you would understand and forgive me for my reckless behavior. I hope that this one incident will not affect our relationship.
