Thanks. Got it sorted. We did screen share and for some reason it started working.

Clicking launch opens single player mode. No connect options on any tabs.

Also, why is the formatting so bad? I press quote and my reply box got spammed with empty quote boxes.

There is no quick connect... I open GT:MP I have: Home Servers Host Settings Launch. Clicking on Launch opens single player game where I can't go online, not even OG online as it says "You are playing with amodified version" Where is this "Connect" or "Quick connect" option supposed to be?????

So... All info and videos on connecting to the server seem to be out of date. I see many posts asking why the server is so dead... I can answer that. Connecting to the server is basically impossible because there is no guide on how to do this, and yes, try it with given info. It's like rocket science.... I have GT:MP installed. I have legit copy of the game. I have started it at least once for a save file. I open GT:MP (as admin, have it set in properties by default) and I can't find the server. After searching the forums to find someone having the same problems as me, I follow the (confusingly worded) steps. Open GT:MP Click Launch - At this point it launches GTAV into single player mode and thus I can not get to a "Connect" screen to input the server details. If anyone could not only help me with my issue but also think about making a guide on how to connect, I am sure the server population would be better. Thanks.
