when i try to join the server after i have clicked launch it comes up with the ip of the server not the name and wont let me connect can anyone help me please thank you

gt:mp issue every time i alt tab to unstick and tab back in it crashes my game

every time i alt-tab to unstick and tab back in it crashes my game its not like when i join i get a one time in a billion problem that i get my controls stuck i use a mouse and keyboard cause controllers are less accurate and also its bs now that this keeps happening can anyone help me fix this ?
