It's happening in real life, I wouldn't mind seeing something like that on here. At the moment I haven't been able to catch a taxi as there are never any taxi drivers online, and it would be nice to get 1 on 1 roleplay/chat/interaction with other players while driving them around.

Issue/bug you are reporting: Not exactly a bug, but people have been re spawning their trucks when low on fuel to get back up to 100%. Just change the default fuel on a truck to around 30% to encourage people to use all fuel stations.

Or just implement a way to save what the players fuel is at..

You driving the crown vic when there are other, better, possibilities is your own fault. You need to deal with it.
What's the point of thinking like this? He wants to drive the crown Vic, why not make it somewhat viable? There will still be better options, but I'd rather drive a crown Vic, too.

I'm not sure about your country, but the driving test in the game actually took about as long as it did for me in real life. I don't see why you want to waste peoples time.
I'm not saying this issue is the direct cause of the current population, simply that it could be reduced to encourage new players.

In real life can`t get the driving license in one day E(for a truck) and A(for the bike) driving category is not so easy to take it......

This is a game though, if they really want to make it realistic they should add a year of probationary driving. Players want to get into the game, they want to play. When there is a barrier of entry to play a low-population servers, it can be a turn off.

I don't think you read the post. I was chasing a BOX TRUCK that was going faster then my car. You cannot block those kinds of vehicles lol. You can call in backup. But if your vehicle cannot keep up with a truck that IRL would max out at 80-100 MPH. That's crazy.
I'm sure there was no backup when you were on, as well.
I agree with this post, cop cars should be fast.

Issue/bug you are reporting: Every time you get out of a rental when your money is negative, both your hand and your bank go into the negative. I'm currently at -1413 bank and -1412 hand.

The license tests seem a bit long. It's not like you can fail it (as far as I can tell). I was waiting for a new player to finish up their tests and it took a long ass time before they were able to actually get a taste for the mod.
Edit: to clarify, the driven test not the written test.
Edit2: if you don't think it's too long you didn't drive the speed limit.

Welcome to the Southside Grove Street Syndicate, or for short, Grove. We're a crime-based group in the south-side of the city, centering around Grove Street. Our history is long and thorough, we've been here as long as the city has been around. The gang is held together with a strong sense of brotherhood, all our members are considered family and neighbors. An important part of the Grove gang is to live in and represent the south side of the city, although we dominate the entire city, the South will always be our territory.
Grove specializes in small-time crime (mugging, pushing, killing). We are a street gang through and through, but we follow the money, and whichever route is most profitable.

100 players running around, running traffic lights just doing jobs...sounds fun....
I don't know right now I've got a bad taste in my mouth with GTA Network and well...since this is the only server I play on - ECRP. I've been RDM'ed three times, I have interacted with maybe 5 people tops in my hours of playing. It's very boring, very grindy and well...nothing like I had hoped. It would be more fun if there was AI and cars and people and shit to do with other people. I'm not saying it won't get there, nor am I saying I dislike anything the devs have done, they've done a aboslutely fantastic job building thus far and should be very proud of what they've done. To me...since I come from FiveM...it's just not what I'm used to.
I just find new players and teach them the ropes. I have fun interacting with all kinds of people, especially when I get voice chat involved. Car lot is kind of the unofficial center of the map imo.

Evidence (optional): Can be shown in-game for proof.
Update: Sold my car and it seems as though the new owner was able to lock it. Bought a new car and I am able to lock it. Not sure what produced this bug.

With FiveM they don't take up much of any resources... a FiveM server runs on barely 1 core lol
To me, when you go to a city - its busy, there's cars, theirs people walking, talking - just because you can't natively interact with them, there's Lua scriptwriters who have made it so you can interact w/ them on FiveM between selling them food / weed and shit like that.
I think you're confusing my use of the word interacting, I didn't mean clicking buttons and buying/selling from a menu. I wouldn't mind seeing NPCs on ecrp if gtan ever implements it and it doesn't ruin the server stability, but it's not something I'm missing. I feel as though a server with 100 players will feel more than alive, and with full player interaction.

Hi there I'm Sam! You might have seen me around the forums, if not, nice to meet you! Been waiting for some form of solid GTA:V rp since it came out in 2013. I've been roleplaying since about 2008-2009 when I first started playing Garrysmod. I've been running roleplay servers since then with the exception of the last few years. My favorite roleplay setting is Real Life, followed by Apocalyptic.
Hoping to see you all in-game and creating lots of amazing memories.

More immersive with NPC's.
Oh I actually feel the opposite way. No point in having something you can barely interact with taking up server resources.

They're limited to 24 servers but are an actual living breathing world with NPC's and shit... makes it way more interesting then a empty server with 12 people in it all the time.
I guess so. I'd much rather have a server with 100 players seeming somewhat empty than a server with 24 players and NPCs. I really don't care for NPCs.

To add to your idea, I think advertisements should be on the forums and be integrated in game with a price to post. (ala craigslist with fees)
I like the idea of private sales, but at the same time, the car lot seems like an ideal place to do some IC paperwork in trading the vehicle.

Aren't FiveM servers limited to 24 players? Seemed way too small to me.

I'm not suggesting an official faction I'm suggesting a job. Why even have a taxi faction? Seems like you're going to have people jump through hoops and write applications for something as simple as driving people around. I just don't understand what advantages a full taxi faction presents over a taxi or Uber job similar to all the other jobs we have.
