Please clarify your role before the shootout began, including what you observed and what information you relayed over radio.
Before the shootout began, I was scouting while we were holding the lab area. I was positioned on the road directly above the lab so that i could keep an eye on the surrounding area. During this time, i noticed the FMJ (ID 9) keep looping around the area that i was positioned at. He was making radio calls, although i was not able to hear what was being said. I found this behaviour unusual as whenever i drove towards him to try and communicate, he would drive further up the road. When he got too far from the lab i turned and stopped following, but then he would turn back around and return to the area.
I attempted to communicate with him directly to ask if he needed something but he did not respond, I described what was happening over the radio , mainly that a unknown person was repeatedly circling the area and lingering around the lab. I did not see this situation as hostile, there were no threats, demands or aggressive actions taking place from my perspective. My priority was to hold the lab and avoid any unnecessary attention.
Were you part of a pre-established Locos/Rooks activity before the casino/chase situation began?
Yes. I was already part of the Locos/Rooks activity before the casino/chase situation. We (Locos/Rooks) were already coordinating around the lab and my main involvement was scouting and providing information. I was acting as a scout while the lab was being held and was providing information to the group on radio of any activity around the area.
Please explain your use or knowledge of any joint frequency around the time of the situation, including who provided it, who was expected to be on it, and what it was being used for.
A joint frequency was being used between us Locos and Rooks. I was given the frequency by another member of Locos although i do not remember exactly who have me it. It was being used as general communication and relaying any information between both of us as both groups were cooking inside of the lab.
What information did you have before becoming involved in the shootout, and how did that information lead to your involvement?
Before i became involved in the shootout, the main information i had was the repeated presence of the FMJ (ID 9) around the lab and the behaviour i described earlier. However, i don't believe that this was an active hostile situation at the time. After Jackson made a radio call saying that he had been robbed by OTF, we moved towards the casino area to check the situation. After getting to that area, Luca and I agreed that it was not worth escalating and decided to return towards the lab area. While driving past Pillbox MD, i decided to turn around and take a different route than Luca back towards the lab as shown in the POV provided by ID 9. Both OTF cars are still following Luca, I would say it was more following than chasing from the OTF members. I make my way to the lab and i decide im going to drive up the hill to gain a better vantage point. While i was moving up towards the hill, i look to my left and see Lucas Kamacho get rammed and go flying. I could see Luca try and evade but shortly after he was shot at directly outside the lab.
I continued up the hill and once i got to the top of the hill overlooking the lab, i saw multiple otf members moving down towards the lab area with guns. From that point onwards, based on what i had seen, i believed that that a active gunfight had started and i became involved by shooting at multiple OTF members from the northern hill area in front of the lab.
I didn't start the conflict or come looking for a fight, in my opinion. After choosing not to escalate the casino scenario, I was heading back to the lab. I didn't get involved until I watched Luca get rammed and shots being fired near the lab towards Luca.
I do not have any POV available as I was not asked to save it at the time.
