BillyB Posted December 29, 2025 Report Posted December 29, 2025 Spoiler Red Ledger Collective What is written is not forgotten What is unfinished will be settled Backstory The Red Ledger Collective wasn’t formed overnight, nor did it form from chaos or revenge. The origins trace back to a loose network of career criminals, fixers and intermediaries who operated in Los Santos for many years. Though they might come from different backgrounds, they all shared a repeated experience - encounters with authority figures who abused discretion, acted emotionally or treated those beneath them with open contempt and faced no consequences for it. Repeated exposure to this pattern led to a shared conclusion: the system doesn’t lack laws; it lacks accountability. Rather than responding with immediate conflict, the individuals began documenting patterns. Names, incidents, witnesses, dates and promotions were quietly recorded. Over a period of time, the documentation became structured. Trust was limited. Records were verified. Decisions were debated. What started as memory evolved into doctrine. The Red Ledger Collective was born as an organisation whose purpose was not to oppose law enforcement as an entity, but to track, audit and respond to abuse of authority when it became habitual and unchecked. The Collective does not rush action and it does not operate in the public eye. Many matters end without violence at all. Others do not. All outcomes are considered settlements. Legal Front The Red Ledger Collective maintains a legitimate business presence in Los Santos through Ledgerstone Administrative Services, a small business specializing in accounting, compliance assistance and back-office administration. Ledgerstone Administrative Services operates publicly, professionally and within the boundaries of the law. Its stated purpose is simple: to help clients stay organised, compliant and informed. Services Offered Bookkeeping and expense tracking Payroll preparation and contractor management Invoicing and accounts receivable Documentation organisation and archiving Compliance assistance for licenses, permits and renewals Administrative support for legal businesses and organisations Roleplay Purpose Generates legitimate and explainable revenue Provides natural access to business owners, organisations and professionals Creates organic RP with other factions, corporations and civilians Reinforces the Collective’s identity around records, documentation and process Offers plausible reasoning for meetings, document exchanges and communications Ledgerstone’s existence allows members to be present in legal spaces without suspicion, supporting the faction’s preference for restraint and subtlety. Escalation Doctrine Observation - Behaviour noticed and documented quietly Notice - IC warnings and subtle pressure. Entry - Name added into the Ledger Collection Phase - Action decided on and approved by Archivist Closure - Debt resolved, name archived Escalation beyond “Notice” requires Archivist or Accountant approval. Roleplay Focus The Collective is a highly organised criminal faction centered on escalation, restraint and consequence. We do not seek chaos, domination or constant conflict. We seek balance. Our roleplay focuses on: Long-term investigations and documentation Escalation-based conflict rather than impulsive violence Reputation, leverage and influence over brute force through numbers Internal debate and discipline Structured interaction with other factions and corporations The Collective believes respect is currency. Abuse creates debt. Debt must always be settled. Identity & Culture The Red Ledger Collective is defined by restraint, memory and professionalism. Members do not seek attention, validation or notoriety. The faction believes that being seen too often is a failure of process. Every member is expected to understand that their conduct, not their weapon or clothing, is the faction’s strongest identifier. The Collective values: Patience over impulse Consistency over spectacle Reputation over fear Process over ego The Collective’s identifying colour is red - not bright, neon or flashy - representing debt, not rage. It signifies entries that are active, unresolved and remembered. To align with the faction’s lore, red accents must never be the dominant colour of an outfit or vehicle. For example red underglow, wheels, a tie, a scarf or a hat. To blend in, all members are expected to wear business casual, formal or understated streetwear. They should never wear obnoxious tracksuits, flashy chains or have excessive tattoos on display allowing them to look plausible in meetings, offices and public spaces. BillyB Posted January 10 Author Report Posted January 10 (edited) Spoiler Whilst stopping by City Hill to file some paperwork, [REDACTED]’s curiosity was stimulated when he noticed a gentleman speaking to a crowd of Government employees seeking legal advice. After eavesdropping for a short while, [REDACTED] stepped in to stop the gentleman from incriminating himself. Initially, the gentleman believed [REDACTED] was an undercover police officer and was apprehensive with sharing information pertaining to his query. After recognising the gentleman wasn’t just your typical criminal street thug, [REDACTED] made the decision to pry further and invite the gentleman to a nearby parking lot. In an effort to alleviate the gentleman’s suspicion, [REDACTED] made a deliberate decision to expose himself to risk, placing something in the gentleman’s hands that could not be taken back or denied. The implication was understood immediately and the conversation that followed was not hurried. Equal relationships are essential in life, if one party feels like the other owes them something, there is bound to be conflict. In this case, [REDACTED] holds dirt on the gentleman and the gentleman holds dirt on [REDACTED]. These type of equal relationships allow for deep trust to be established. With the exchange complete, [REDACTED] turned his attention to consistency. Whatever had occurred needed to align with what would later be recorded. Being in unfamiliar ground, [REDACTED] proceeded with caution, ensuring every outcome was considered before anything else was done. An account was prepared. Time passed. [REDACTED] waited in a nearby coffee shop, watching the hours move without interruption. No response came. [REDACTED] wasn’t surprised. Edited January 11 by BillyB Added plaintext Quote
BillyB Posted January 11 Author Report Posted January 11 (edited) Spoiler While stopping by City Hall once more to attend the trial of State of San Andreas v. Nathaniel Luceran, [REDACTED] found himself lingering near a group of bikers gathered outside, their Lost Motorcycle Club cuts unmistakable. What initially drew his attention was not the gathering itself, but the lineup of motorcycles parked nearby. A casual conversation began, centred on engine capacity, custom exhausts and the kind of quality that doesn’t come from the showroom floor. As the discussion continued, it naturally drifted beyond bikes. The mention of a recent encounter, and the brief sight of a Sheriff’s Deputy passing through the area, prompted [REDACTED] to voice his growing disdain for the Sheriff’s Department. The reaction was immediate and telling. The sentiment was shared. Introductions followed. Before parting ways, the group extended an invitation for [REDACTED] to visit their clubhouse in Stab City - an offer he did not dismiss. Edited January 11 by BillyB 1 Quote
