    The Underground was fighting back. They were the surviving force that always fought back.

    The 25th of March symbolized much more than just a date for them. That is a pivotal date. One that has proven that The Underground are to be imprisoned together, or not at all. Building relationships around the city has been a key strategy for The Underground, especially for Josh Vex. He's always enjoyed the idea of being the driving force against the always-tyrannical government. And that night was no different. Combining forces with another criminal organization, a clear message was sent. Officers, deputies, it didn't matter who was in the way.

    Clear the way, or or be cleared with it.

    The Underground had been on a roll. They began to feel untouchable from the police, and as the Cartel extended their hands to begin "boosting" cars for them; it was no exception. They have currently, successfully gotten three of the vehicles for the Cartel in hopes of catching their eyes... And that isn't including the Shotaro the group teamed up with OTF to find. The Underground noticed a common theme amongst the car thefts.

    It was always The Underground or Only The Family.

    While allies with OTF, there was some thrill in friendly competition with them, and they knew OTF felt the same way.

    You know why the Mini MDC has not been touched since Moses came down off the mountain with the Commandments? Because there is no need. 


    This implies it makes sense to drive to the burgershot entrance, open your Mini MDC, and have the ability to scan 10 different plates that aren’t facing you, are being blocked by other vehicles, or might not even have a plate. 
     

    Coming from another person who’s done both LEO and Crim, the mini MDC needs work. As stated above, you should be able to lock a vehicles top speed and it’s plate. I personally think it should only run one plate at a time. As for vehicles that don’t even have plates, e.g. the trophy truck, bicycles, etc. it should return NO info on the vehicle other than speed. This promotes RP through making the officer run an RPly obtained VIN number.

     

    Bala, you’re not being constructive by calling a whole thread “crims complaining” and comparing them to flat Earthers. If you’re going to respond, defend your argument to promote genuine discussion instead.

  4. I agree with everything in this post. When you drink, you're drunk for like five minutes and if you ever get pulled in to an RP situation, it wears off in the middle of it. The idea of drinking so much that it doesn't wear off until late at night or on the morning is great too. Adding something to help you sober up quicker would be neat as well, maybe something like drinking water could have a small effect on the length of being drunk. Maybe it could have an effect on different actions as well, such as locking/unlocking your car or a property door, or anything in the interaction menu seeing as you're not very good at doing things when you're drunk.

    100% this. I've escaped a chase in a stock Primo Custom. The police are fine, they're given tools to benefit them when they need it. But in the end, it's a combination of skill of the person running, and a little bit of luck on either side.

So the issue is something with the VOIP code remembering you were in range of Player X, and attempting to send you their audio, then aborting because you are out of range.
     

    I've noticed a similar problem when you're on the phone with someone. As soon as you end the phone call, it looks like their name pops up every time they talk, for the length that they're speaking, but there's an absence of pops. It seems like the VOIP code is just shoddy to be honest.

  7. Something has to get done about this, it's especially bad for people who frequent the pier, and I'm sure it's just as bad for people in prison. It's the worst when you're alone, volume at max and you suddenly hear 3 people popping in and out of existence right on your ears.

  8. I searched around a bit and didn't see a suggestion for this. I think it would be nice to have some better weapon sounds added to the server. The default GTA ones are just kind of boring and don't have any oomf to them. I'll post a couple of good examples below. I'm not sure if the server is okay with using a public mod for server additions, but these 2 are the best examples I can find.
