i.e. if you get arrested once in the last 7 days, you do not get a license suspension, if you get arrested twice you get 1 day license suspension, three times 2 days and so on.
That way people that play rarely/smartly are not overly punished while serial criminals are encouraged to change their ways or receive repercussions.
this is the shittest idea I've ever seen, lowering the time to 6 hours is still gonna piss the player off enough because realistically they're not gonna wanna drive again for the rest of that day, the only problem with 24 hours is that it would not only fuck over that players day he got arrested but also the day after where it just became a 2 day punishment and way too long.
having the idea of just scaling the fuck out of the peoples license suspension dependant on how many days ago they last got arrested for it is just gonna result in people just never having a license especially because of how easy it is for a cop to find some reason to give someone reckless "aka driving through an unsynced traffic light (which we all got abused for until D6 disbanded)" which will just create another game mechanic cops can abuse as well as nerfing the amount of RP crims will want to do which is especially bad in a server with a declining crim population.

Make license suspension 3-6 hours, 24 hours is a joke if anything just makes people want to log off.
Passenger in evading shouldn't loose their license at all, never really seen the point in that.

A huge part of development and improvement of the server and community relies on suggestions and discussion, parts of the server such as crim jobs, doc, acceptable language and behaviour and elements of the legal side have had huge improvements because of discussions that non-staff members of the community have made and talked about.
Another huge part of the server that's always being talked about is cops on the server and their methods of arresting and jailing people which is why cops and crims have always argued, I really don't see how it makes sense to have the main part of this hidden from the community. All the abilities of detectives on the server have been hidden from the community for MG reasons and only a select few people (mainly the people that benefit from them) know what detectives can and can't do. I guess this keeps the element of surprise in the server however its also the main cause of a lot of issues.
By hiding the abilities of the detectives, you also take away the ability for the community to make their suggestions, which has fixed many problems in the past. Then instead of players remaining clueless and just having it out for PD, getting frustrated, demotivated, careless and causing a rivalry there could be more clarity too. The server in my eyes has always aimed for fairness and realism, however this part of the servers always been out of contact for suggestions and opinions on improvement which as I mentioned earlier also happens to be the cause for a lot of problems that lead people to leave the server.
No one that this actually effects can actually appeal what happened and if they make a report all they get is "information hidden to prevent metagaming" and so are left with the impression of unfairness, this is why I think people should be allowed to know what they can do. There could be the most unfair script and no one could do anything about it due to having no knowledge of it and I doubt anyone benefitting from it would mention it being too unfair.
In short, Give players the opportunity to discuss the currently hidden methods PD/SD instead of hiding it from criticism from the rest of the community.

they need to add something so you can see and meet other people easier, the suggested friends is good but the fact every character from anyone that's ever played has an account to makes it impossible to actually be finding people you don't know who actually still play.
A "for you page" would be good if it showed people that are actively posting.

PD usually to busy rolling labs/ following random people in a heli until they do something to get arrested/ "randomly" checking phones of people they know are in garbage etc
when someone does call for the impound PD probably don't even see the call as all the cops are probably spam dropping backups getting ready to join tac-1 and push a lab and everything just gets lost in the amount of chat spam they get.
If it being fully automatic isn't going to happen at least maybe let it be automatic when there are less than a certain amount of cops on duty, like how you can't start a bank without a certain number of cops being online.
also anything like if the person has a warrant for there arrest, suspended license, outstanding tickets etc. this can all be coded in so it wouldn't be possible for a crim to get there car. And maybe even if cops got alerted when someone with a warrant tried getting there car out would be something.

Dont change private labs they force more people to go public labs so better. But the reward from everything like ATM robberies, house robberies, store robberies are still fucked which is why no one does them and 90% of crims will just cook in a public lab
