+1 I'd even say make it lower, like 100 to play, and betting starting at like 20. That way prisoners could still bet some stamps without fear of not being able to buy FOOD or WATER or a PICKAXE needed to get more stamps if they lost it all. The games are more intended to be fun and a way for people to entertain themselves anyways.

Coalition Update

Wolfe Security is attempting to assist us with our protection needs for the mines. We have been given a monthly ((IRL Weekly)) price for his security forces to patrol and guard criminal hot spots that directly affect the miners and their jobs. We require several people to step forward, willing to donate to the coalition so that we can cover these costs. The more individuals we have willing to donate to the coalition on a monthly ((IRL Weekly)) basis the lower the price will be. This will help provide protection for both yourself and your fellow miners, and hopefully, it should put a hard stop to the majority of crime the miners are forced to deal with. Please spread the word to your fellow miners, and together the price of security will be less than a single run to the foundry every month.

 

On a secondary note, I would appreciate if anyone is willing to assist with operations of the Coalition. Currently, I am debating creating a council of sorts or some form of an elected official. I am likewise working on a coalition email ((Discord Channel)) and would appreciate the assistance of anyone with technical support or experience in creating one. It would easily help the miners to collectively communicate, and it would be a place Wolfe Security could post their current hours and rates. Please feel free to provide feedback, as any opinions from the miners would greatly help and affect our forward movements.

As an American, I came back to Los Santos after military deployment looking for an honest living, and a new life to build in this great city. I was led to the career of a miner, finding the physical labor to be well suited to me, and the pay to be well worth it. However, I had found that this city had a plague of injustice and crime. The mines were no safe place, as its workers are robbed of their hard earned money, and sometimes even their lives.

This can not continue.

In response, I am creating the Miner's Coalition for the everyman miner who has been oppressed by gangs and criminals of Los Santos. Together we can protect ourselves and organize ourselves in retaliation. With enough members, we can bring the Los Santos government to do justice for the mines and we can properly unionize. With a solidified workforce we can begin to take security measures, and soon no miner will have to live in fear that their place of work will be endangered by a masked criminal of the street.

Join us, and protect the miners.

If you wish to join our cause and to aid us in securing the mines, we are simply looking for anyone willing to support the miners and their rights. With numbers, we can deter the enemy, and we can create a new environment. We are welcome to suggestions on what we can do as citizens to both protect the mines and to make the work-life there more beneficial. Members are highly advised to obtain a weapon permit and to carry a pistol around the mines and foundry. This is clearly meant for self-defense. While we wish to ensure the protection of the mines, we will not tolerate illegal acts, including vigilantes. Volunteers are especially welcome. I myself have personally taken time out of my day purely to protect my fellow miner and this work station. Leadership roles are likewise available for those who are equally passionate about securing and enhancing mining conditions. If you do not think that you have anything to offer us, please do not feel discouraged to join. Other skills or even your voice alone can aid us and your community.
