Now to answer your question if you can lose it:
I am not exactly sure what you mean with losing it, but it will basically be just like a regular car. It can get chopped, destroyed, etc etc. But you can then also just pay for mors to get it back.
It won't take up a space in your maximum slots, but you can also not sell the credit vehicle to someone else. It is bound to your account. There is an option to transfer the vehicle between youor own chaarcters for a little bit of credits, depending on the value of the car.

Idk if this works but tried to chop a credit vehicle a week or two ago the chop npc said I can't chop credit vehicles. Maybe I am wrong but if this is true it is pretty P2W.

Those with Italian Fathers aren't the only ones allowed in anymore, and small connections are being made on the street, and with more prominent groups in the city.

 

Working with caution, The Gambino Family does everything it can to keep itself hidden from law enforcement and the general public. Staying legitimate with connections; they have been making deals, equipping themselves and others throughout the city with firearms. With low time street gangs prominent in the area, they more than happy to aid people who rightfully need it. There is no drug rule in this day in age, and some are even selling drugs on the street.

BOSS
Only the boss, underboss or consigliere can initiate an associate into the family, allowing them to become a made man.
 

UNDERBOSS
The underboss is second to the boss. If a boss is incarcerated, the underboss may become acting boss.

CONSIGIERE
The consigliere is a close trusted friend and confidant, the mob's version of an elder - or advisor.

CAPOREGIME
Made member of an Italian crime family who heads a crew of soldiers and has major social status in the organization.

SOLDIER (MADE)
A soldato or soldier is the first official rank. The promotion to soldier is an elevation from the associate level; the associate must prove himself to the family, and take the oath of Omertà.

ASSOCIATE
Associates are employed as drivers, bodyguards, hit-men, enforcers, errand boys, or money collectors for high-ranking members of the mafia. Associated are usually either money-makers or good hit men.
