I have almost same problem, when im playing online on this server im lagging and after like 20-30 min i just cant play because of it, in single player game runs smooth. In single player my settings are on very high and online i change it on very low and it still laggs, anyone knows how to fix it?

i think is a GT-MP problem and we have to wait fot an update.

Also decrease your quality settings

In single player i'm running the game at very high.

Change your DirectX version to 10.1. Saw a 40FPS improvement.

I don't think that GT-MP supports DX10.1 or DX10.

[Minor issue after re-spawning a vehicle.]

Hey I've fount a small issue. After re-spawning the bike, I've tried to climb on it and i got thrown up in the air two times then i died.

 

This issue was seen only once. (Very low repro)

Hey guys, do you have any tips to improve the FPS?

 

Now i have around 30 FPS with 10 players around me at the fishing pier spot and in single player between 60-70.

when you are spawned in the truck, it says that is a rented car.

hmm... you could change the salary if the user has a truck, doesn't matter what kind of truck, it may be one like the default one. What it matters is that the user has his own truck and he will not pay anymore for the rented one. This is just an workaround until the trailer is fixed, this is only my opinion.
