  1. I think a more of a semi automatic suspension system if LEO factions would be a cool thing. If a cop unlawfully shoots someone and it gets brought to court he can be suspended from clocking in for 24 hours. You can RP the suspension Sort of like how the license suspension is currently. That way applying to be reinstated can be far more drastic measures and sort of like you were fired and or retired.

This might be copium for cops to feel the pain of 24hr suspension lol

+1 for a pay bump although this does feel like a temporary solution as mentioned the prices will just rise.

-1 for "RP bonuses" (money per car serviced or taxi call taken) This would cause competition within the legal companies and would no doubt lead to people cutting corners (Rushed RP, Not following faction protocols)

-1 for any type of "Stimulus check" at the end of the day this would require so much work from staff not to mention there's no objective way to decide who's RP is "good enough" to get paid for it.  If you're RPing as a drunk who doesn't work then being forced to work freelance jobs on occasion or beg for money is just part of the RP with the character...  and if it's an ALT then there is already a transfer system in place that can be used.

I agree with your reasoning for bonuses not being applied but this happens at burgershot consistently. Whoever completes the orders gets a nice automatic tip and it’s not that big of a problem. People are pretty understanding and I have not run into an issue with people being greedy. At the end of the day If the person is not following protocol they will be removed from the faction.

With what you said in mind I think that the player who is being serviced should receive the option to tip. In the chat you could get a message saying you were just serviced by a mechanic would like to tip? /tipaccept or something and it would be a variable rate to the work you had done. Same works for weasel and other LEO factions.

  3. +1 on all of it. All the change did was hurt smaller groups that don’t have official status IMO. In all honesty I am fine if the server wants to make drugs the leading way to make money. There is definitely some realism in that. But all the new labs table ratio is horrible. Takes me 30 mins to organize my crate with what I need to bring to cook on the different tables. Unless you bring extra materials just to risk losing more time and money.

+1 I understand trying to change the meta of the economy but that being said.. making high stakes criminal jobs like chopping or store/bank/atm robberys have less of a return isn't ideal.. like bala said eventually no one will waste there time doing such activities because jail time fines and reward won't be worth it

They buffed ATMs enough to make them worth it and then a week later made a change that made them less worth it than before.

I do agree and it being this way does sort of feel like an oversight, more than a feature if I'm honest.
That said, I do think there would need to be a separate limit on how many tables could be placed within a property's radius though, just to avoid any goofiness.

As for the water bottles, filling bottles with ocean water always has been a little goofy, especially when you consider that putting these at a residence, means there is a local water source near, at all times.

What I think would actually maybe run is having a water barrel deployable, as part of the lab equipment, a bit like how the chop shops are.

    • Buy a water barrel from the street NPC that sells equipment for the chops or laundry OR from a 24/7, as it's a legal item.
    • You can deploy a water barrel on property you can permission for but it must have a little bit of distance away from another player object.
    • If you got a table within range of a deployed water barrel, you can use the table.
    • Every time you successfully make a drug, it drains the water barrel of some water and it'll will eventually reach zero.
    • You can either buy a new barrel or fill it up if you really have to.
    • If it reaches zero and you try and cook, it just won't work. It won't turn into a bomb, it'll just not work.

Do the same shit with a gas canister for the power for the tables and you got yourself a lab.

No need for explosions if you in the world. No need to have gang members going down to the beach to collect water like this is some third world country.

    Suttin like this.

Praise the lord for this lmao. The water is a whole separate issue that I have grown to cope with.

  6. With the recent change to private tables I don’t think tables should count towards your 25 outside building items.

I do like the change as it requires more risk to private cooking and can promote good interactions between players.  However with the need for storage for waters and some sort of cover for you to hide the tables. 25 spaces just isn’t enough unless the house you own already has some sort of outside cover.

    Would like to here thoughts.

  7. So I think most criminals hate their license being suspended for 24 hrs.

What if there was a local that you could buy a fake ID from? Just like the house guy. You bring cash and can purchase a fake ID. The fake id would be a random person in the city or random person that has a criminal record or just a random name. I also think your fake license should disappear upon death.

The command could be like /showfakelicense or something along those lines.

I think this could lead to great interactions between cops if they pull you over with a suspended license. As well as being able to show someone a fake license when they use the license commands to confirm your identity.

agreed, leave you less open to gremlins who wanna look in your car while youre busy running a downed person into pillbox. rply youd be quite capable of reaching into your pocket and clicking the fob for your car whilst having a body slung over your shoulders

Not to mention the newer cars you just press a button and it unlocks if the fob is with you.
