The robbery UI probably has to be present to allow police or allies to participate in the robbery situation as well. I recommend getting rid of the UI and changing it to a command based system. I suggest the following:

    • Rather than the UI and the big skull icon marking the robbery, the contract dealer only provides an address, and the player needs to do /setgps [robbery address] to find it, or just find it manually themselves.
    • Add a new command /checkdoor to initiate the robbery or for others to check for signs of forced entry, or just checking if the door is unlocked. To prevent other crims from going around Vinewood hills and spamming this command at every door, there could be a random chance of law enforcement getting an automated call if the command is used on a house that is not currently marked for robbery saying something such as, "The homeowner believes someone is trespassing on their property, trying to break into their front door!"
    • Ctrl+x can be used to lockpick the front door, just like with vehicles.
    • Change the Law Cleanup UI to a command such as /cleanuphouse for police to use to get rid of the robbery contract. This command would of course be restricted to on-duty law enforcement officers.

This is incredibly clever and I like it. +1

  2. -1 But only for the simple reason that I think we should be encouraging new groups to form and grow and create RP not just swell the ranks of already existing groups.  I will say I do agree with the fact it could be something that could be looked at in the future tho.

  3. Interesting. +1 to the idea. I think it would really depend on the balancing of the cost to get a key and new plate.  If its to cheap everyone whos chopping cars will just instantly do it and if its to expensive it wont be used but i like the idea.

  4. I personally have no issue with this as depending on the time of day you play having a cop available to come to impound can sometimes be very very hit or miss. I would say a good compromise would be if there was a way that hitting the pager at impound started some sort of timer for you and if noone responded within a certain amount of time the auto impound would work.

And if there are no PD/SD on duty or maybe lets say less then 3 or 4 LEO on duty it should maybe just work.

Also I don't think outstanding fines should matter just having a non suspended license.

+1. The amount of times I’ve seen someone wait in the alleyway and follow someone, or have someone camp a house because they see the UI, it’s not great..

also be able to purchase contracts up to 2 in game hours BEFORE open, so people can pre-purchase possibly.

I like the idea of also being able to pre purchase the contracts. In addition to the other changes. Because lets be honest even just adding 1 new dealer wont help as groups will just camp both.

  6. HUGE +1. From crim side they are almost not worth doing if you don't have a group to back you up  and from the leo side its become pretty insane that 90% of the house robbery alarms we respond to now seem to have dead bodies or shooting going on

  7. Ill just comment on the dispatcher idea as I think its interesting. The only issue with it is how you would regulate it. During non peak hours no one would want to do it. And even during peak hours it would take a motivated person wanting to do it to do so. Not only that but all the protocols and rp around it would need to be built first.

  8. With the changes to how tables work I don't really see this being able to work... there has to be some risk involved and with the only explosions now coming from RVS parked in the middle of nowhere I don't know how viable this is. Not saying I think its a bad idea just not sure how viable it is considering 99% of the time the RV is the only thing in the area.
