Here's why. The credit system is already built out and the vehicles are already coded in. So every purchase doesn't require extra work. And like stated above a lot of people have credit cars they don't use anymore for various reason. Whether they weren't fast, couldn't store a body, only hand two doors, weren't an off-roader, etc. I have a Draguar I never use anymore. I would gladly trade that in even for less credits just to put it towards VIP. It doesn't matter if the money you put into mods and upgrades it is a wash. It would just incentive people to invest more money into the server at the end of the day. A lot of people don't buy credit vehicles because you can't trade them of do anything else. So I think it's a good idea that could help the development of the server with the money it could bring in.

Honestly they are so expensive and there's no benefit to stealing them. Might as well make them automatically locked like in gov vehicles. It would make things more fun for everyone since then everyone would be able to play music in there cars. All gov vehicles have it and most of the time they can't use it. So let everyone else just have it.

  3. Then why are all car dealers automated? Just cause they put in the hours to make millions now they dont have to rp? Same for all the corner stores. High end and low end are automated.... We can go in circles all day making up arguments for every side. I work 8-10 hours a day. I dont want to come home and send 1-2 hours waiting to get a car back. The only option I have is buying more cars or hoping someone feels like doing the least fun part of their job.

  4. As usual ill keep it simple. A repair kit that can cost like 2k-3k similar to the Jerry Can. You buy it and it'll get your car just to 300 this way you can turn it on and drive to LSC or Bayview. It'll help everyone who has to wait hours/days to get a stranded car. It also helps keep mechanics at their shops this way they don't miss any customers and don't get spammed with requests. Since it's usually 1-2 people on duty at certain hours. And they aren't allowed to leave if they are alone or the other guys is AFK.

not sure what you are referring to

So like when you have a bag thats to heavy to pick up you have to carry it. If you go up to your car you can just hit store and it goes right into the trunk. I think they should add that feature to Safes.

Maybe we can just cut the human intervention part out completely and just RP with ourselves.

I don't think full automation should be considered, because its one of the only methods of cop/crim interaction that doesn't either end in a gun being drawn or a yelling contest. I also don't think leaving it as it is should be considered either, because I can imagine during the timezones where cops aren't online much and you want your car, it's a bitch.

I'd be up for automatic un-impound under the following conditions.

    • There are less than six cops online at the time (PD/SD combined).
    • You need a valid drivers license.

That way we still keep the RP opps there but if you having to wait, it's an in-character issue where cops are busy, not an out of character one where they are just not logged in, on duty. You shouldn't get punished because people aren't active but at the same time, this aint Burger King, can't have it always your way either.

    There are probably improvements there to make the sex more pleasurable for the cop too;

    • Letting us know which Impound it's at, either City or Paleto.
    • How much the un-impound fee is BEFORE release.
    • Allowing us to set an optional time under certain conditions for a car not to be retrievable when impounding.
    • Allowing us to un-impound your vehicle from your list of impounded vehicles like /ticket functions, instead of typing in the plate.
    • Adding this straight fire flatbed script, that @Thang and me worked on improving, to flatbed the vehicle there so you don't have to fuck about with the positioning.
      https://streamable.com/lkzfy5
    • Also, if a vehicle is permastalled when impounded, charge the player an extra fee (like $500) but give them enough vehicle health left for them to take their car and get it fixed properly at Bayview or LSC.

Quality of life that shit and every one wins.
Damn, i'm good at this shit.

Thats a joke. For cops and Crim to interact. I have clips of cops legit avoiding doing their job. Giving lame excuses as to why they cant help or straight up ignoring you. Cops are just here to "RP" gun fights since they know they wont lose anything since its all handed to them automatically.

  7. Can we make it a rule that officers or anyone cant just see your gun because of an animation or a visual glitch. Like when you are sitting in a car and cops wait for your character to fidget so they can see the gun to then charge you. Or like when you wear a baggy shirt and the gun clips through. It not RPly visible cause in real life the gun wouldn't just poke a hole through your shirt. Also if you have a gun on your back and are pulled over in real life you're not gunna fidget and allow it to be seen.

Agreed that someone destroying a car for no reason is just poor RP and shouldn't be occurring, however, you should expect your car to be damaged and potentially destroyed if you are taking it to a dangerous area where you could, or do die. I personally think this is a good thing as it encourages people to not always use their expensive sports cars (paragons or VSTRs, etc.) for every situation. It would make a lot more sense to bring some kind of vehicle that is worth less based on the risk of the damage instead of always seeing everyone use the meta sports cars.

I agree with what youre saying. My issue is leaving a car out at Legion Square parking and coming back to it a few hours later and its lost a lot if not all its health.

  9. So every time my car gets left somewhere after I die or at gang HQ someone is beating it up to the point where it wont turn on. I think there should be a /viewdamage command similar to the /mywounds. Then maybe an admit  can find out if someone is NonRp breaking your car and can do a report.  Its silly that ive spent over 25k in 24 hours to get my cars back.

  10. I think there needs to be certain limits to a heli. A few months ago I was part of aa hostage situation. A cop was held at gun point and I was called ever by the hostage to pick up a duffle bag and hide it. He stated that if I were followed he would kill the officer. I found a place to hide the bag and looked around couldn't see or hear a heli. Which was clearly flying at the top of the map. SO if you ask me that NRP along with the fact that that officer was clearly endangering the hostages life. I think heli  should have a height limit.
