  1. In this post I will list off some changes that I believe would make house robberies a more enjoyable experience. Feel free to express which suggestions you find should make it into the server and which should not.

I am going to categorize the suggestions into multiple categories into [time] and [loot].  Suggestions in this category will be numerated.

In [time] I will talk about generally the amount of time it takes to complete/start house robberies.

    [time]:

    1.  Instead of house robberies only being able to be completed during night-time, impose a cooldown on each player (lets say 3 hours). This cooldown is applied after the house robbery is finished (lets say 15 minutes since the robber last went into the house). I make this suggestion since I have lost count how many times I felt like doing a house robbery and it was either too late into the night to initiate a house robbery or it was day time.

    2. Make safes take less time to drill open in houses. Currently it takes about a minute to drill the safe once and wait for the noise meter to go down enough in order to start drilling again. This has to be done a total of 10 times in order for the safe to be drilled open. I suggest to shorten the amount of time it takes to open safes, since 10 minutes for one safe is (in my opinion) tedious at best. Most houses have 2 safes in them so 20 minutes are pretty much just drilling open safes, and most people just watch something on their second monitor/phone to pass the time. I suggest: a) halving this time to make the process quicker b) reduce the amount of noise the drill makes so we have to wait less for the noise to go down or c) both.

In [loot] I will talk about the loot generally found in houses and how this could be improved upon.

    [loot]

    1. Add more items to safes, here are some examples:

    - valuables (can be sold to pawn shop)

    - X amount of drugs (amount can scale with the price of the house robbery itself)

    - Lower end guns (sns pistol, heavy pistol, .50)

[note: I am not certain if these lower end guns can be found in house robberies as of yet, but from what I heard the odds of                                                                                                                 getting a gun are low, since the guns that are able to be found are otherwise rare/impossible to come by (such as a musket)]

    2. Add small chance for safes to have a second item inside (like 10% for each safe)

    3.  Decrease the volume of scratched furniture (is rarely being taken as is)

    4. Increase the amount of of money found in packed money which is found around the house (these are usually only worth about 200-300 dollars, which is for their current weight that they take up kind of insignificant).  ( Maybe remove packed money from safes to not have an overload of packed money inside house robberies).

Now, comment below what your opinion to these changes are. Do not resist on being harsh, I want to hear your opinion.

  2. So Today House robberies released.

Great update, however theres one issue.

If you come to house robbieries 5 minutes after 10 pm u wont be able to do any house robberies, because "there are no available houses to rob"

Because a lot of people want to rob houses, unless you come really early there is no chance you are going to be able to hit a house for the night.

I learned that the houses need to be robbed AND cleared by law enforcement in order for you to be able to request another one.

This can take a while, especially if you get out and you don't make enough noise to trigger the phone call to the police to happen.

Please, increase the cap of how many houses can be robbed at once! It is currently a pain to stand with 10 other strangers spamming e and hoping u get a house to rob.

you chopped a player car, it despawned after a time period because unless you park your car in parking, a house, a apt, or garage its about 2 hours before your vehicle just disappears and will reappear when you login (to save server fps).

I chop cars DAILY, player owned cars give absolutely nothing to counteract about a year ago, when you could not even get gas without your car being stolen cause they chopped for 6k+, NOW player owned cars can be actually left on the street and shit instead of constantly being parked up because they chop for like 60$ a tire.

NPC cars are here for a reason. So you chop those instead of players cars. was a W update because buying my car back from mors for 10K+ every 4 hours was really cringe

TLDR - Not a Bug, Chopped a player owned car over a NPC car

ok so today I tried again and it turns out that I did in fact chop a player car.

I did not know that it was a player car since it was parked, and looked like a normal npc car.

I deeply apologize, to both the person reading this for wasting their time and the person whose car I chopped.

You don't need a toolbox to chop those parts now, no? Likely due to dealer price decline due to an oversupply from other players. Honestly man, chopping really isn't worth it. I can kind of see why the Rooks lore preaches against it. The old system wasn't any more profitable, but the RP that came from it was more interesting, and the start-up was non-existent.

I thoroughly enjoy the increased engagement with the mechanics of using tools like a consaw, and being able to bring realism into the process is a nice plus. I also support the hotwiring and lockpicking changes, because it was obviously annoying not being able to park your car anywhere without fear of it being stolen. But I feel the pendulum is now on the polar opposite end, where player owned Grand Theft Auto rarely, if ever, occurs. People might break into them for valuables, but they don't waste their time stealing them anymore.

The best aspect of the old chop system was the RP you received from players protecting their car, or tracking you to stop the chop. You just don't have that with chops now, and instead you fear being mobbed by a huge gang, effectively losing your investment, and profit potential.

I've said before that there's more money in stealing chop shops than actually running one. And there's also less risk--you can't call the cops because your illegal business got raided.

Simply put, the price is low due to IC reasons, but the system is flawed for OOC reasons.

brother, the issue isn't that chopping is flawed or not. It went from giving 500 bucks per tire to 62!

I think that either (by some immense unfortune) picked a car that looked like an npc car and was placed like an npc car, or that the current prices are bugged.

I just want to know which one it is.

Cause you're chopping player vehicles and not the npc spawned vehicles. Player vehicles go for less now why idk.. but that's how it is.

bro i chopped a dominator. I checked like an hour later it was despawned. I really doubt it was a player car.

also in my experience player cars are way harder to pick and hotwire, this one wasnt.

if you can get footage of urself getting a tire and trying to sell it for normal price im gonna try again myself and see if this was a one time error or not

  6. Recently I have tried using car jacks.

They are VERY random in terms for when they do and don't work.

I believe that one of the following measures should be taken:

    1. Make the placement less sensitive

                      OR

    2. have someone post a guide in the FAQ/Server guides part of the forums.

The current placement is so hard that I have had to sit for hours on end trying to figure out how to place it, and even then cant get it constantly.

Please consider on of my options, I truly believe they could help out the crim side of the community.

the investment of 200k is defo worth it, each spawned car is in the range of 14k-32k to chop. chopping can be done solo, or as a group but its obviously more profitable as a solo.

This may be true, but if we halved the price to like 100k and made the profits be 7k-16k many more people, including people who may be newer and not affiliated could give chopping a go, the problem with the current chop shop is not if the investment is worth it, is that the investment itself is too high and the only people who can afford it are rich people with nothing better to spend their money on.

My suggestion is that we reduce the cost AND the money you can make.

Chopping wouldn't become obsolete, just more available for other people to do it.

  8. I believe that needing a huge investement in order to chop cars should not be a thing since we already have that role taken up by cooking,

We also have robbing stores/banks for money making with a VERY small setup cost

I think that chopping cars should be in the middle, more like 100k to set up, but giving like half what it gives now.

So that we have something in the middle in terms of investement between robbing stores and cooking.
