Metagaming to gain an in-game advantage, for example telling a friend your location through PM to obtain backup. How did the player break the rule?: After spending over 10 minutes outside of my house waiting for me to get out, Mask 8107_7450 is found sitting at the corner. When he sees me, he comes to me and is not very responsive. No calls on the radios are made or any sort of communications is found to be done towards his friend which just happen to be driving by the corner a few moments after he got in contact with me. This could be a very sketchy coincidence but I suspect metagaming happened. Edvve Posted August 18, 2018 Report Share Posted August 18, 2018 I was waiting for you to exit and the other guy was scouting the area driving around back and forth. You can see him drive through us one time he saw what was going on and he came back. I didn't want to use radio because you would have understood and probably shot me or tried to run away. As he was scouting you say, he seems to have a very strong knowledge of the current situation. You waited for him to come back (as you know he was quickly going to) before engaging any rp with me. Tell me how's that not metagaming. And yeah, about the teamspeak, it's pretty evident that in the video shown below, they are talking about another game and that I muted it because it was affecting my comprehension of the rp situation. Edvve Posted August 19, 2018 Report Share Posted August 19, 2018 Yeah, I told him the man is stuck in the house and whenever he exist we will rob him and go inside his house to check. I showed him the house and said keep and eye out if you see us together. And you can clearly see him scouting he runs over your house sees us and then comes. If it was metagamed or whatever you say he would have came in straight away don't you think as he knew the location of the house. We even waited for admin for 20minutes, because you didn't want to open your house. I think you just a bit salty over that situation that's it. Captain Tofu Posted August 19, 2018 Author Report Share Posted August 19, 2018 Yes because in over 1 year and a half, it was the first time ever I was being robbed at my house and asked myself if it was even possible. I fully complied as soon as I got confirmation that this was a thing. It was a grey zone that, even some staff weren't/aren't fully aware of. Your friend was coming in straight to where we were but he fucked up and missed the entry. Thrust me, this robbery has little impact on my character. It's just that I believe you guys acted very strange over this situation and I believe it needs to be checked. I will not reply anymore as there is a lot of reports currently on hold.
